The Surya- 4 Star Luxury Airport Hotel

Visited Surya today for breakfast with family. This hotel holds nostalgic value for me, as I used to stop here for breakfast during my childhood trips through this area. In that memory, I decided to visit again today for a quick breakfast, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing in terms of both food and hospitality. The hotel primarily offers a breakfast buffet, which is complimentary for in-house guests and priced at 200 per head for walk-in guests. The buffet spread included idli, vada, thattu dosa, boiled egg, puttu and kadala, two types of chutney, sambar, bread, butter, and jam. For beverages, they had watermelon juice, tea, and coffee. Omelette was available on request. We arrived around 9:30 AM, and by then, many items -- especially vadas and watermelon juice -- were already finished. Despite the buffet being open until 10:00 AM, the staff did not proactively refill the items. Only after multiple reminders were some dishes like dosa and idli replenished. The overall hospitality has noticeably declined, which was surprising given their positioning as a 4-star luxury hotel. The staff seemed inattentive and required frequent follow-ups even for basic requests such as providing empty glasses. It would be beneficial if the management could focus on training their staff to be more attentive and responsive to guest needs, ensuring a smoother dining experience. Overall, my visit to Surya today was disappointing, and I would need to reconsider before planning another visit.

Stayed there two nights . The hotel is in middle of city and direct access to the NH. Food is good but service can be improved. Safe locker was closed and no one came to open even though given 3 reminders.House keeping need to be more active in cleaning the corners of bathroom and towels are old. Rest all ok and worth for the payment.

It will be good to set a good ambience in the roof top like light music, open bar counter, good table with chairs. Good foods with authentic Angamaly dishes to enjoy the flavour of Angamaly. I know this is not going to consider because you don't want new crowd especially youngsters and family crowd.

I recently attended a training program at The Surya Airport Hotel and had a great experience. The seminar hall was spacious and well-suited for a group of around 100 people. The food was delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure everything went smoothly. Parking was hassle-free, with spots available both in front of the hotel and in a larger area nearby. There was even a liquor party during our visit, which added to the lively atmosphere. Overall, it was a memorable visit!

Pros: -Good value for money -Near airport, railway station and restaurants -Compared to city, much nearer to Munnar -Booking allowed 3 adults and 1 infant overnight stay in single room with extra bed for 3rd adult. Also bed was king size -Complementary either of airport pickup or drop -Quick service Cons: -No tourist attraction nearby -Mix of new and old rooms. Allotment depended on room availability

I had buffet lunch here. I was travelling to Aallepy with Veena world travels. We had lunch here. A variety of food menu was available including veg, non veg and deserts. In the non veg menu they have provided Chicken and fish. All the food items were good in taste. Service was good. The hotel ambience is also good. Roadside parking is available here as well as hotel parking is also there. Good option for lunch/dinner with family.

Very near to airport. Guys book this hotel without any single doubt. Very good hotel for stay near Kochi airport. Initial I had doubt about hotel ambiance or maintenance but after stay there... It was feeling wonderful. Moreover, I booked it through make my trip hence they also provide me free airport transfer. I told again book it without single doubt. Near to airport Free airport transfer Very tastey food. Nice/helpful staff Car parking Lift Beautiful lobby. Everything was available nothing to worry.

We had the joy of celebrating the welcome party of our newly born granddaughter on 17th May 2025 at Hotel Surya. The hall arrangements, service, and food were truly outstanding. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Mr. Jinu CK, the General Manager, and the entire team at Hotel Surya for their excellent hospitality and support in making the occasion so special.
