Customer Reviews & Testimonials
Mughal Darbar is the perfect spot for delicious and authentic Mandi rice! The flavors are rich, the rice is perfectly cooked, and the meat--whether chicken is always tender and packed with aroma. The portion sizes are generous, making it great for sharing with family and friends. The restaurant has a welcoming atmosphere, and the staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring a great dining experience. If you're looking for flavorful, well-prepared Mandi at a reasonable price, this is definitely the place to visit. Highly recommended!
Waiting staff looks disinterested. Got served with undercooked chicken thigh & rice. When brought it to notice of waiting staff, we were informed that there was no more chicken thigh available. But thighs were being served to other tables. There were no tissues on either the table or in the washroom. Luckily we could find some in the waiter's station. We informed everything to the person sitting in the cashier area and he just kept silent. Overall the food is flavourless just like the waiting staff & the ambience. Only thing good about this place is the location.
I ordered half chicken charcoal from Mugal Darbar, and this was one of the worst experiences I've had. The person at the counter didn't even seem to know what chicken charcoal was, and started explaining it to me--despite the fact that I've been ordering this dish for over 25 years from different restaurants across India and abroad. It felt like he was completely new to the industry. When I finally got the food, it had a strong kerosene smell, clearly indicating that kerosene was used during or after cooking. That's not just bad taste--it's unsafe. I've ordered the same dish from this restaurant many times before, and this time it was absolutely pathetic. I expected a good dinner, but the experience was completely spoiled. Disappointed. Mugal Darbar needs to seriously improve both staff training and food quality.
Disappointed with the food quality I recently visited this restaurant and ordered mandhi, but it was a huge disappointment. The rice was undercooked and hard, making it difficult to eat, and the chicken was overly salty. To make things worse, the cool drinks they served were not even chilled, which was very frustrating. The balance of flavors was completely off, and the overall experience was not worth the price. I expected much better quality, but this was a letdown. I hope the restaurant improves its food preparation and service.
I went to eat food at Mughal Dharabar today and it was the worst experience of my life. The staff there spoke badly of my friends and me and did not give me the food that was worth the money I paid. I will never eat food from this restaurant again. Dirty hotel.
Good food...live and tasty...not so crowded when we went...so enjoyed the ambience...reasonable rate and good quantity and quality.. the service is also delightful...
Quality Chicken & Egg Fried Rice! I recently enjoyed a delightful meal at Mughal Darbar Restaurant in Alamcode. The exceptional taste of the Hyderabadi Biryani was a highlight, and the Chicken Fried Rice, Egg Fried Rice, and Gobi Manchurian were equally impressive. The air-conditioned family rooms provided a comfortable setting for dining, enhancing the overall experience. The hot Jeera Water served during the meal, made Mughal Darbar a standout choice for a satisfying and flavourful meal.
Food was good especially the kuzhimanthi and shawaya are must try ones. Road side parking available. They have separate seating arrangements for friends or family. Good ambience, comfort zone. Only drawback is that the rice is not unlimited as other manthi shops.
