Sundaran Thattukada

Hidden gem in Attingal for some lip-smacking street-style Kerala non-veg delights. Seating is limited--so unless you're lucky or early, it's a game of musical chairs with fellow foodies. Tried the Chicken Perattu and Chicken Kondattam--both were fire (and I don't just mean spicy). Full-on naadan flavour bomb, like your Ammachi's Sunday special but with more chilli and chaos. Rates are pocket-friendly, which makes it even better for repeat attacks. Don't expect fine dining or AC luxury here--this is hardcore thattukada style: plastic chairs, smoky vibes, and finger-licking goodness on steel plates. Only reason it's not a 5-star is the crowd struggle and limited space. But food-wise, this place slaps.

Visited Sundaran Thattu Kada after seeing multiple positive reviews on Instagram. The experience was fantastic! The chicken biryani brought back nostalgic flavors from childhood, with perfectly cooked, flavorful rice and tender, juicy chicken. We also tried the porotta and beef curry combo, which was equally delicious. The beef curry was rich and flavorful. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed the meal and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food!

We bought food from the restaurant and after about 2 hours the beef curry started smelling bad and started to spoil. We transferred the curry to a bowl and after about 15 min the curry started to froth and people that ate it has experienced nausea and stomach problems

By far the best thattukada experience i have got in and around Attingal. We had to wait for around ten minutes to get a seating as its very limited. We ordered dosa and porottas, along with chicken perattu, chicken thoran, berf fry and beef perattu, a couple of omelettes and everything and i mean it, literally every single one of those dishes were so tasty. The flavour of coconut oil in the curries and the generous amount if coconut pieces or shavings in the curries were an indicator of how good they tasted. And unlike many thattukadaswhere, the free sambar and chutney are watered down, here every gravy was cooked to perfection. The three of us had enough and more food that we were struggling to finish the side dishes at last and even then the bill was around 800 rs which i think was quite fair. I will definitely frequent this place here after... Recommended

Best budget friendly restaurant,with many varieties of dishes . Fish items are most preferable .

Horrible experience from the lady sittin n the cash counter... Her attitude towards the customer is very bad... Food also not good...

A famous fast food shop in Attingal. After a gap recently I visited the shop again. And I can say that this is still the best of its kind in town. I tried their beef roast, beef fry, chicken fry and porotta. All were good and tasty like before. NB:- Around 12 sitting spaces are only available. 4-wheeler parking can also be an issue.

Following our first order, we decided to try the regular porotta and chicken parcel. We were genuinely impressed with how quickly it was served--within just 2 to 3 minutes. The chicken was flavorful, and the gravy had the familiar, comforting taste we expected. As they say, "New is best, but old is gold." Our second order took slightly longer, around 5 minutes, but the quality of the porotta and chicken remained consistent. Recommended Dish: Porotta with chicken and gravy.
