Gokulam Vegeterian Restaurant

Accordingto my memory,In the year of 2019,When I was going Malayattor church by walk we were staying in Muttom church,I had my breakfast from this restaurant and the taste was something I can't forget. Today, 1st april 2025 almost 6 years later,I decided to go the place again It was almost 80+ Kms from my home and I've reached there by early morning Food taste was same and service also improved(they got more manpower now) Restaurant ambience can me improved. We've tried, Masala Dosa - Above Average Dosa - Very Good Porotta - Very Good Coffee - Good Kadala curry - Very good Chutney and sambar were also tasty. The best part was Uzhunnu vadai which was perfect by taste and texture. Thankyou for the good taste n memories. Hope to see you again.

We had 2 dishes, Mysore Masala & Podi Masala Dosa. Both had a fairly good amount and average taste. It was accompanied by coconut chamanthi, chillies and sambar. A quiet little shop away from the hustle and bustle of the city that seats 10-15 people. The store was very busy. Hot masala dosa and steaming coffee to the tune of pure music during monsoons was a special experience.

Food is above average and tasty. Flies are the major trouble in the restaurant. We need to do the self-service like throwing a banana leaf, also the faucet is not working. We need to take water from the tub to wash a hand in the basin. If you want to have good veg food at affordable price then this is the go to place. . Edited on 07/20/2024: Faucet is repaired and working fine.

I had breakfast from this restaurant, the quality is above average and the rate is reasonable. Like someone pointed out, you have to clear the plantain leaf on which the food was served to you after eating.

When it was started, the food quality was very good. But today we had masala dosa and vada.Vada was almost half cooked only.May be due to the rush they are facing now.If they look in to it(quality of the food)they can go ahead successfully. Hope the management will take this note seriously.

I recently found this vegetarian restaurant in cherthala. I usually prefer to have lunch from vegetarian restaurant mostly and my choice was not bad. Simple lunch on banana leaf costs you INR 70/-and is good too. Good choice for vegetarians.
