Huts Restaurant

We recently visited Huts Restaurant and tried a variety of dishes, including parotta, chicken roast, lime, and two ice creams: strawberry bar and butterscotch cone. The overall experience was okay, but not great. The parotta was the highlight of the meal - it was crispy, flavorful, and had a nice large portion. However, the chicken roast was served cold, and the quantity was on the lower side, which was disappointing. The lime drink was a bit odd - it had only a little sugar, almost as if it was meant for someone with dietary restrictions, which felt a bit off. As for the staff, their behavior was a little uncomfortable. They were staring at us for a long time, which made us feel uneasy. We didn't report it, but I found a fly in my butterscotch cone ice cream. Honestly, we didn't bother mentioning it to the staff because we had already noticed their odd behavior, and we figured they might just shrug it off. We also noticed quite a few houseflies lingering around our food, which wasn't ideal for hygiene. The ambiance is quite basic and doesn't offer anything particularly special - it's just a standard restaurant. We sat there for about an hour, and while the food wasn't terrible, it didn't leave us with a strong desire to return. The hygiene was decent but could certainly be improved with better pest control. In conclusion, the food was average, the service could be more attentive, and the overall experience didn't live up to expectations. A bit more focus on cleanliness and customer service could go a long way.

Unfortunately, I had a very unpleasant experience with my duck roast order. I was quite disturbed to find duck's thick hair was not cleaned. This is a significant hygiene concern and made the meal inedible for me. I would urge the restaurant to be more vigilant about their food preparation and cleanliness."

The restaurant is located on the highway side with ample space for car parking. The parking space can accommodate bigger vehicles like travellers too. The restaurant is clean and doesn't have the fowl smell that most of the restaurants have. The seating space is cozy and comfortable. Recommended for families who want some privacy while dining as the seating is bifurcated. Food is served at a much faster pace even though they have high volume of customers waiting for their ordered meals. The staff have a pleasant smile while taking or serving the meal. Food is good and not overpriced compared to other highway side restaurants on the way. note to the owner: the keep the momentum going. Please don't compromise quality for quantity

Had dinner last night, Ordered Mixed fried rice with the Chilli chicken in dry form. first of all the Pricing of the dishes are on the higher side and the quantity of food is not proportioned as with the price. Taste wise it was okay and the service and Atmosphere was good. The restaurant is easily noticeable from the highway and there is plenty of Parking too.

Located Southern Side of NH 66 HUT Restaurant serves a nice Fish Curry Lunch. Thirutha, Kalamchy, Red Snapper Chempally, Chutty Meencurry is famous and Fish Fry is very tasty

Had lunch once and dinner next. Loved the food. Had meals for lunch. Porotta and chicken curry for dinner. Equally yummyservice was also good. Highly recommended place.

House converted to a restaurant. Amazing meals and non veg. Try the beef roast, fish curry and Karimeen fry. Everything tasted awesome to the core. Amazing place to have authentic kerala cuisine. Right on the side of the highway

We had lunch here and ordered Chicken biryani and Karimeen. Karimeen and Chicken biryani both were tasty. The taste of Karimeen was not upto my expectation, hence giving 4 star for food. Washroom and wash area was clean.
