Decent spot to have lunch. All items like curry of chicken, fish, duck, beef, and shell fry, prawns, appam, rice, porotta, are available here. Also toddy is served and can enjoy food and drinks together. Don't expect ambience and interior beauty in this restaurant and all you can expect is a place to sit and eat which is decently clean and tidy. Lot of parking space is available and can park more than 20 cars at a time. Do try the lunch from here once and enjoy it. Some items are expensive than the standard rates and ask the rate before ordering it.

Had the lunch meal (rice, netholi thoran, payarru, sambar and moru) with fish curry and pork roast. Pork Roast was the highlight. The essence of the fat in the fried onion masala was splendid. Nice succulent pieces. Fish curry was good. Not the usual spicy water you get at such joints. Kallu was perfectly fresh and refreshing. Service was great. Good attention to the customers experience. This place is highly underrated and that's why I felt the need to review it. 5

One of the Best Meals "uunn "i had recently. Tasty,Qualitily, Budget friendly & Good service. FOR 60 RS! The curryies sambar and moru is average but tasty. The complimentry toor. cerrupy toor kollluv piir was the most attraction for me. I orderd a Kakka fry .That was also tasty & served good Quantity. Staff chettan was served me good. he ask me to refill the curries and thorans which they giving as free! In majority of hotels we have to ask for toor. Even we ask sometimes we will not get good service. I would recommend this Good food spot to you. I didn't regret for ate from there. You also willnot ! THIS IS NOT A PAID PROMOTION .THIS REVIEW IS PURELY FROM MY HEART.

Yummy food, had Kappa&Appam with 'Varal Thala' curry ambience is below average, hygiene need to be improved

We recently visited Idukki Rajappas Family Restaurant in Cherthala and had an average experience. We ordered a variety of dishes, including kappa, choora meen curry, kakka irachi fry, netholi fry, chicken fry, and meals. Unfortunately, all the curries lacked the expected level of spiciness, which was a letdown. The surroundings were average in terms of hygiene, and the ambiance didn't quite live up to our expectations. However, the restaurant's location near the highway is convenient. While the food was edible, it didn't impress us, and we left feeling somewhat disappointed. Perhaps with a bit more attention to flavor and ambiance, this restaurant could reach its full potential. For now, it's an average option for those looking for a quick bite near the highway.
