Excellent place for family get-together. We visited today 15th Feb 2025, the food was awesome, their service is great. Special mention about Anandu who provided special care to us. And ofcourse the natural scenic beauty is too good due to the restaurant being on the sides of the backwaters. Overall we are very happy with our visit.

Great experience with outdoor seating. A refreshing seating set up with open air huts. Family friendly. The Prawns roast was delicious. We also ordered beef fry, fish curry and Natholi fry. Definitely worth!

Been there 3 times with family n friends. Nice and affordable food. Staff and owners are friendly. Ambience is excellent with good nature vibes.

Luka's Open Restaurant offers a beautiful view of the tranquil backwaters from its outdoor dining area. The peaceful atmosphere outside enhances the dining experience. We had a meal with a special prawns roast, which was truly delicious. The menu includes a variety of different seafood dishes, with some items requiring prebooking a day in advance to ensure availability. Additionally, customers can prebook seats outside. Overall, we had a great experience spending time there.

We arrived here for dinner and ordered the Prawns fry, Appam and fish pollichathu. Missed the duck mappas as it's only available at lunch. The Prawns fry and appams were divine. Will definitely return for those alone. Recommended to arrive here for early lunch for more dishes.

One of the best experiences even before we reached Alleppey! Honestly, it was pure luck that we found this restaurant! We were driving towards Alleppey and it was way post lunch so we were hungry.. and then when we arrived there, it was Matthews' warm smile and kind nature, that instantly made us feel at home! We didn't even know what to order and so he made sure we have the most amazing fish dishes.. He promised that our plates will be clean and boy! They were..so he delivered!! So in our 2 days in Alleppey, we went to his amazing family restaurant 3 times! Have their amazing tamarind fish curry and chicken 65! All were too good but these were our favourites! Please don't miss this restaurant on your way to Alleppey because it is not just the food, it's the people there..its their smiles, the way they talk to you, the way they welcome, the home away from home feeling, and oh the scenery all around..the backwaters and the houseboats that appear and grace us with their presence.. Also they have a small farm in their backyard and Matthews being so kind, plucked some passion fruits from his garden and we happily had them..we are very grateful for the beautiful hospitality shown by all the crew members of this restaurant..we wish you so much success and with such an amazing response to your customers, I'm sure you will go a long way ahead!!

Absolutely amazing seafood..ordered prawns roast..karimeen fry and masala,varal pollichadu fried rice..fishes were very fresh,no overpowering masalas ..all my family members loved it
