Wayside Inn

I recently visited Hotel Way Side, located opposite St. Michael's College in Cherthala, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The staff were friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The management seems to handle the place well, contributing to a positive atmosphere. The ambience of the hotel is quite nice, providing a comfortable setting for dining and relaxation. However, when it comes to the food, my experience was a bit mixed. While some dishes were enjoyable, others fell short. The Kuttanadan duck roast, unfortunately, was a disappointment and I wouldn't recommend trying it. On the brighter side, the nool porotta was superb, and both the appam and BDF were quite good. Overall, I had a good evening with friends at Hotel Way Side. While the food has its ups and downs, the friendly staff and pleasant ambience make it worth a visit. Just be selective with your menu choices!

Ever since I can remember, my family and I have been trying our best to eat at Wayside Inn restaurant whenever we are going to or from Kochi airport or Ernakulam. After the renovation, the ambiance is good. Also, the food here is also worth mentioning, especially the duck roast, biryani, fish biryani, nool paratha, fish curry meals. All the best to the Wayside Inn team.

Above average food , good service and great atmosphere. The interior looks premium. Regarding food We ordered chicken noodles, appam beef, mix fried rice. Chicken noodles was good. Appam beef was also good, beef pieces are cut like a steak. It was also good. Mix fried rice was below average. Overall good experience.

We ordered one chicken biriyani and fish biryani, The presentation was good , taste wise ok but quantity wise not , only two small pieces of chicken,for fish biryani one thin piece,they charged 300 for that , chicken biriyani 200 ,not much parking space .

Restaurant with Superb ambience.I wonder why the reviews are poor.Food was tasty . Service was good.Well maintained. parking is available in front of the restaurant.After the road construction is over ,it will be easier to access. We didn't get menu card.But the people on the table next to us got it.They might have requested the same. This restaurant can host a small party. We had dragon chicken and chicken fried rice. Lemon juice was good too. Will definitely recommend this restaurant to all. Will try their signature disher in the future and update my review.

What a change, what an upgrade of the space.. Brilliant.... It was very famous for the duck dish, fish dish and beef dish... amazingly they continue to still have it going... Foods great and the ambience is great as well.. Fantastic to be back here after many years... The food portions are big.. the staffs are friendly.. The place gets busy at peak times and you will have to wait to get your table.. Enjoy the best at their new ambience..
