Andhra Kaaram - Taste The Tradition "Authentic Andhra Food"

Pathetic Food !! I visited this place to try some authentic Andhra Style food and ordered Prawns Karam Podi and Tomato rice. The prawns were dry and overcooked , also the onion masala taste was just of chilli and nothing else. Tomato rice had no relation with the authentic dish and was just bland ! I would never suggest anyone to order from here. Since I was in hurry I gave the feedback to chef / owner .. but i dont think so they can do anything about the taste since what they are cooking is nowhere near authentic Andhra Style food. Wasted 630/- for just 1 person. I am pretty sure the owner will try to justify in the reply section here .. but the photos speak for themselves

Wanted to experience traditional Andrea meal for sometime and finally managed to visit Andhra Kaaram. The place is getting a bit worn out and was completely empty when we walked in at 12.30. Menu cards are from 90's. The food and service is top notch and must try if anyone want to indulge in Andhra meals

I visited Andhra Karam restaurant in Kochi & ordered Hyderabadi Chicken Dum Biryani. What I received was a complete disaster. Just look at the pictures -- the chicken was completely burnt, giving off a strong, unpleasant burnt smell. The meat was dry, blackened, and inedible. The rice was no better -- it was dry, flavorless, and nowhere close to what a Dum Biryani should taste like. Absolutely no aroma, no masala richness, and not even the basic biryani feel. This was more like leftover dry rice with a chunk of burnt meat thrown on top. For 235, this is totally not worth it. Highly disappointed. A place that claims to serve "Hyderabadi Dum Biryani" should at least get the basics right.

Andhra in Kerala!! For the people who have a weird thoughts of having a Andhra cuisine in Kerala like ME, I would definitely recommend this place to satisfy your desire!! Special mention: Mr Manish lamn who is a serving staff here went above and beyond to ensure that we had a great dining experience!! Thanks for you patience Manish.!

Good authentic food . We ordered set of 3 biriyanis , the mutton hydrabadi was really good

I recently visited Andhra Kaaram and had a wonderful dining experience. The restaurant serves truly authentic Andhra food with bold, traditional flavors. The staff was highly efficient and knowledgeable, taking the time to explain each dish and how to enjoy it in the traditional Andhra style, which really enhanced the experience. However, there are a couple of areas that could be improved. The washroom needs more frequent cleaning to maintain hygiene, and the parking facilities were quite poor. It was difficult to find a space, and the overall arrangement could definitely use some improvement. Despite these minor setbacks, Andhra Kaaram offers a fantastic Andhra dining experience, and I would love to visit again! This version addresses both the washroom and parking issues while maintaining a positive tone.

Tried the Andra Bhojanam non veg. Every curry was having its own flavour, chiken fry was least liked one for me, so you can imagine how the others were. Fish curry had a very different taste from the usual kerala style. Three veg curries were there, one small bowl rice which was also very good, and one chapati, asked for extra chapati. One star less for the toilet.

Visited this place for lunch with my family today. We entered the restaurant and there were people seated so we sat at a table but we did not see any staff, the table we sat on had plates and waited 15 mins. No one came to clear the table until we called one guy to clean it.. he took the plates and did not clean the table. Waited there another 10 mins for the waiter to come with the menu but no one came. The customer service is very bad. I just saw 2 staff members for the whole restaurant. Never visiting this place again. Would not recommend this place to anyone.
