Dhe Puttu

Puttu has always been a favourite dish of mine like any other malayali. I was blown away with the varieties available here. Being a vegetarian I was a bit skeptical about the available varieties and how they would taste. We had 7 sundara raathrikal and Veg chopsuey puttu. Both tasted good though 7 sundara raathrikal was the highlight. The ambience of the restaurant is very special and interesting. The service by the staffs are also remarkable. Every aspect of the hotel highlights the fact that how great an entertainer actor Dileep is!

A fine option for puttu lovers.Absolutely loved the puttu combination at this restaurant.The texture was soft and the flavor was perfectly balanced. It paired well with the accompanying dishes. Highly recommend trying it out. The quality and taste were top-notch, making it a must-visit for fans of puttu dish. We tried beef kappa biryani, kammara sambavam , amar akbar antony combo,biryani putt , non veg putt thali, and putt kizhi. Every dish was delicious. They serve unlimited spicy and tasty black tea along with this . Have to wait to get a seat. Kammara sambavam and thali is highly recomendable.

I recently visited Dhe Putt Restaurant and was blown away by their incredible puttu dishes! Their signature varieties, such as the Chicken Puttu, Beef Puttu were absolutely delicious. The puttu was steaming hot, fluffy, and perfectly paired with the accompanying dishes. The service was also top-notch! Every type of puttu offered by them is very tasty and tempting enough to bring you back to Dhe Puttu again and again to try newer puttu variants.

Have been there now a few times with friends and family and it's now our go to spot to take any out station visitors we have to get a good tour of puttu and some Kerala heritage. The menu is sumptuous with non-veg dishes, but there is no dearth of interesting options for the vegetarians as well and the both are equally tasty. The crowd can be an off putting factor for some and during peak meal hours, one might have to wait outside- this if they arrange a more comfortable seating- would be great. There's outdoor parking ground available for more than a dozen cars. The service is mostly warm. The crowded timings can be a miss sometimes, but otherwise it was pleasant. With a cool cosy interior, hot masala black tea like concoction (some days a bit too sweet), melodious songs in the background and bowls of crispy pappadams accompanying the puttu, one can never have a bad experience I guess! The price is on the higher side, over about 500+/head for a full meal. But the food is tasty and the experience is worth in my opinion, especially the off-peak hours- the availability of any dish wasn't an issue.

A Must-Visit for Puttu Lovers! I've visited Dhe Puttu multiple times, and each visit has been a delight. They offer the best variety of food for any puttu enthusiast. The ambience is excellent. I've personally tried the Kizhi Puttu, Chocolate Puttu, Kunjikunan Puttu, and several other items - all of them were fantastic. The duck curry especially stood out; it was absolutely delicious! Service is consistently good too, making the overall experience even better.

I checked out De Puttu and it was pretty good! They have tons of different puttu options - I tried the fish puttu and the shrimp puttu, and they were both really tasty. Unlimited tea and pappid is super cool.The curries were also really good, super flavorful. The only downside was that the beef dishes weren't the best (not that much juicy) it's very hard Also, it gets pretty crowded sometimes, so you might have to wait a bit.its really hot inside It's so crowded and the AC isn't doing much. But overall, it's a cool place to try if you like puttu!

Excellent experience, the restaurant started by film star Dileep from Kerala movies, has become such a big hit. We came all the way from Mumbai just to have the Putu from this restaurant. It was a great experience. Great theme. Great ambience and service was very good. Then environment is very cheerful. Would definitely recommend if you are in Paalarivattam.

Definitely a must visit if you love puttu. I tried the pazhampori and beef and couldnt stop smiling. It was just out of this world. The staff is extremely courteous and you will definitely enjoy a fine dining experience here. The place gets crowded pretty soon and they run out of the top dishes. So make sure you reach early.
