Friends Naadan Uchayoonu

This is a small naadan restaurant which is very hard to find out in the rush. It is situated right opposite to the exit gate of Thripunithura Bus stand. This place is very famous for homely meals. The price of the meals is Rs. 50 which includes Rice, sambar, rasam, sambaram, pickle, one veg side curry and fish gravy. The meals was absolutely worth for the price and all the items included in the meals was very delicious. Sambar was thick and consistent, sambaram was very refreshing, rasam was good enough and side dishes was is also very delicious. Apart from this they have various special sides including different kinds of fish fry such as chala, ayala, natholi etc and beef as well. The price of the all the special fits within Rs. 100 i think. Beef roast was the items which I tried in special, it was very delicious with a nice amount of masala with correct spice levels. What i felt remarkable with the beef was that there not even a single piece of chow chow included in the portion which they provided. I have tried this twice and i and still sticking in this opinion. The quality of the beef was nice, very soft and succulent. The masala levels was absolutely fine. All together that made a great meal. Upto my knowledge they only have meals and various side afternoon. It is a very normal restaurant with a very minimal ambience. As it is situated in a busy road, parking will be a problem. Recommended for those who are interested in a homely and pocket friendly meals.
