Nivedya Pure Vegetarian Restaurant, Guruvayur

This restaurant in Kerala was quite disappointing compared to others I've visited. Typically, Kerala restaurants offer fantastic food, friendly service, and a warm atmosphere, but this one fell short. We arrived around 3:30 pm, expecting prompt service since there was only one other occupied table. While we enjoyed the ambiance upon entering, we were surprised that the service wasn't quicker. We placed our order at 3:35 pm, opting for dishes like fried rice, tomato rice, curd rice, and a fresh lime juice. However, by 4:20 pm, our lime juice still hadn't arrived, and despite several requests, it took a while before it was served. Moreover, the cutlery on our table was dirty, with food remnants on two forks and one spoon, indicating they weren't cleaned properly. When the food finally arrived, the portions were disappointingly small. Despite wanting more, we decided against it due to the long preparation times. We also repeatedly asked for water, but unfortunately, we left without being served. It seems like there's either only one chef working or some management issues.

This is actually a very good restaurant.. But don't know why this is never crowded. A little pricey but very good food and ambience. Has parking space and the staff is very good

There was no one to welcome us when we entered the restaurant. Moreover, when we sat down after washing our hands, someone who didn't even seem like a staff member came and casually said infront of the toilet,Only rice is available.' The staff lacked even basic manners; they were sitting with the toilet door left open. Meanwhile, the receptionist was busy watching reels. As for the food, it wasn't great either. I came here with high expectations after checking Google reviews, but I strongly advise against making the same mistake. I didn't see a single staff member who knew how to behave properly. I would never recommend this nivedya restaurant!"

For mini meals they charge 180rs and for thali meals they charged 270rs. The only difference is one salad extra for thali meals, no chappati, no other curry. Everything same. when asked they dont have a proper answer. I feel even the mini meal is highly overpriced. speechless on thali meals. No proper service too. For bill we waited for 15 mins. Overall bad experience. Please choose other resturants atleast for lunch time

I recently visited Nivedya Pure Vegetarian Restaurant and overall had a decent experience. The ambience of the restaurant was great - it had a modern, chic decor and was very clean. I also appreciated that it was a pure vegetarian establishment. However, the food was a bit disappointing. We ordered the meals, curd rice, porota with kurma, and pulao rice and while everything tasted okay, it didn't quite live up to the high expectations I had based on the restaurant's reputation. The flavors were a bit underwhelming and the portions were on the small side. Additionally, the price was a bit steep in my opinion. While I understand that the restaurant is targeting a more upscale clientele, I feel like the prices could be more reasonable given the quality of the food. Overall, while I did enjoy my visit to Nivedya Pure Vegetarian Restaurant, I would give it 3 stars. The ambience and service were great, but the food was just average and the prices were a bit too high for my taste.

Finding the restaurant was a bit of a hassle for us, even with Google Maps as the hotel/restaurant is on a small one lane road. We had a late lunch here, around 2:30pm. The Vegetarian Thali was almost over so there was a delay in getting our order of 3 thalis served. We also ordered the Vegetarian Noodles with Gobi Manchurian. The veg thali was good, although initially the quantity of the items in the thali was less, but they soon kept bringing more of the items. The items tasted good too. The noodles were good though I wasn't a fan of the Gobi Manchurian but that's more of my taste palate's problem. Compared to other restaurants, the food isn't all that expensive for the ambience and the atmosphere. The restaurant atmosphere is pretty good and very neatly maintained. Plenty of parking too. Overall a good vegetarian restaurant in Guruvayur and I hope it is maintained that way.

I went to this hotel and found it to be just okay. Unfortunately, they did not offer most of the items on the menu and only gave us a few choices to select from. When we arrived at 1:30 pm, there were no meals available. However, we did order chilli paneer which was good. We also ordered Szechwan fried rice and tomato rice, but both were very average. The rice wasn't boiled enough and there was no flavor in either dish. We then tried the mix veg gravy which tasted okay. However, the curd rice was very sour and not good at all. We chose this restaurant based on its high Google ratings, but unfortunately, they did not live up to our expectations.

Never advise anyone to visit,food is served even without heating. Its ice cold. They themselves wanted to shut the hotel i suppose
