MRA Bakery and Restaurant (Kannur)

I have been to this restaurant many times and they have a decent dealing with customers. Last time when I went was a bit crowded in the afternoon and they didn't have a proper seating arrangements. One waiter was asking if it's alright I was willing to share table with some other family, that would be totally intruding in to their privacy. I myself wouldn't prefer if someone else try to sit at my table. That's the arrangements of cheap restaurants. indian coffee house itself don't recommend that idea. Restaurant like paragon, sagar and big ones like this make sure seating is done appropriately. There were many people walking around to place themselves somewhere. MRA vadakara has a better dealing than this one. They must be more systematic. Food tastes very good.

May 2025 Tried Kashmiri murgh. It was really a variety taste. Liked it. March 2025 Tried butter chicken masala, butter kulcha, naan and appam through delivery. Out of these appam was very nice and soft, butter chicken was also not bad but naan and butter kulcha was too hard. Softness was missing. Also tried pepper chicken dry. Quantity was less but taste wise not bad. Garlic naan was soft and nice. Tandoori roti was hard. Tried ghee roast and masala dosa. Ghee roast was tasty but looked like normal dosa size. Masala dosa is not good. But packaging of chutney and curry was superb. Also tried chicken mugalai, it was very tasty. Feb 2025 Tried porotta paneer butter masala and butter naan through delivery. Paneer butter masala was tasty but porotta and butter naan was just average.

One of the best Biriyani I ever had. Chicken Biriyani was cooked with jeeragachamba rice. Packing was simply superb. Wrapped with banana leaf and over wrapped with paper. 2 big chicken pieces were there. The taste was just yummy.. They provided 3 add-ons to biriyani. Curd raitha, pickle and coconut dry chutney. I asked for a papadam, they provided without hesitation. Ordered Shaik the shake (cashew and dates) Was really nice. Visited on Sunday at 1.30pm. even crowd was there, got seat and made comfortable atmosphere. Waiters were also polite. Nice ambience, nice food. Tummy filled.

MRA Restaurant in Kannur is a great spot for both dining and bakery treats. We have visited multiple times, especially for breakfast, which has always been excellent. The variety and quality of the morning dishes make it a go-to place for a satisfying start to the day. Today, we tried lunch, opting for meals and fish fry, and it was fantastic--flavorful, fresh, and well-prepared.That said, the bakery section and other snacks are wonderful, offering a wide range of delicious options.

No menu and a rude staff to take orders, best combo. My order was chicken biryani, and I can say there's a lot more food spots that deliver better biryani than this. Disappointed this time, the BBQ I had from here the previous time I visited was better, and that made me take a chance once again.

This is by far the best place restaurant in Kunnur. You will get delicious food (fish curry was yummy) and very courteous staff. Special mention of Abdul Lateef.. He is gem of a person. If you are visiting Kunnur don't miss coming here. They have basement parking as well.. We also tried Fish Mandi and Roast.. It was amazing

What happened to MRA .. just disappointed There used to be a time when MRA biriyani was famous for its taste. I even had to cancel the parcel after tasting the food.. Hope you guys improve.

At the heart of city near to railway station. This is one of the only restaurants I can go in confidence to have a good meal any day. Though it's super crowded and noisy the food there is guaranteed to be tasty. They have car parking underground in the same building which is free for customers. They have leghorn Biriyani and many other dishes. They need to improve on their mojitos thigh as I felt it tasted just like seven up in color. Biriyani was amazing.
