Disappointing Biryani Experience at Royal Omars Restaurant During my visit to Royal Omars Restaurant on April 7, 2025, I was unfortunately let down by my experience. Having tried both the Chicken and Beef biryani, I found them to be quite disappointing. Given Kannur's reputation for exceptional biryani, I had high expectations, but these dishes did not meet the mark. If you're in Kannur and eager to try some authentic biryani, you might want to consider other dining options.

Good place if you are a sea food lover. The restaurant got good varieties of it. You will get a chance to handpick the fish you want to have. Salmon's are also available here.

This restaurant has no connection to the well-known Paris restaurant in Thalassery. It's misleading customers by serving subpar Thalassery Biryani and chapati. The biryani was reheated and lacked flavor.

In one word... It's "Good" Must try is Mutton Munchoa, Chemeen gravy with phulka and last Paris special ice cream...

Restaurant keeps a safe ambience for the guest. . All the staff were wearing mask. Face pad. Glove.ect.. and they do service preplated to ensure safe distance . Menu was also awesome . Specially their Paris style biriyani. That was so tasty. And even I liked kozikoden dum biriyani which they served. I remember they serve kozikoden dum biriyani only on Sundays.
