Chaayakada - A Hidden Gem for Tasty Kerala Food Visited this chaayakada recently and had an excellent experience. I tried the porotta with beef curry and chicken kuruma - both dishes were absolutely delicious! The porottas were perfectly layered and soft, the beef curry was rich and flavorful, and the chicken kuruma had a lovely, mildly spiced gravy that complemented the porotta beautifully. The food tasted just like authentic Kerala home-cooked meals. Service was friendly and quick, and the place had a cozy, welcoming feel. Highly recommend for anyone craving traditional Kerala flavors.

Just visited Kuttiyikkade Chayakada, a nearly 40-year-old gem that truly lives up to its legacy. The chicken and beef kurma here are absolute delicacies -- rich, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. Hands down, some of the best I've ever had. There's something special about the way they've kept the traditional taste alive all these years. Simple place, warm people, and food that speaks for itself. A must-visit if you love authentic Kerala-style chai and curry!

Kuttikkade Chayakkada is a great breakfast spot in Kayamkulam, but food is only available before noon as they serve breakfast exclusively. Both veg and non-veg options are available. The Porotta and Chicken Kuruma combo is the highlight, and the Beef Curry is also quite good. Their tea is excellent as well. Overall, it's a fantastic small spot for breakfast.

One of the best morning restaurants in kayamkulam with non veg food and veg. Poratta and beef curry and kurma best options. But seating the not that great not comfortable to set and enjoy and lately the food taste loosing the wow feel like old time, hope gets better, have a chai and enjoy the food.

It's a golden spot for breakfast if you are a early bird. Their porotta with beef kuruma is a must try. Always love their Appam with beef kuruma. Chicken kuruma ,Chicken curry,Beef kuruma,Beef curry are their specials apart from that Egg curry and vegetable kuruma is also available. Porotta, Appam, idiyappam, Chapathi are available.
