I recently had lunch at this restaurant with a large group. Unfortunately, there were only two waitresses available to serve the entire party. While the food was of good quality, the service was extremely slow and the prices were excessive. I would not recommend this establishment.

Recently we visited olam backwaters,panangad.And it was an amazing experience for us.The ambience was very nice and it is best place for relax. And the food was really tasty. We ordered that toasted chicken and mushroom mac & cheese balls.And it's the must try item.we also tried the kayaking in lake.

Olam on the Lake offers a serene dining experience with its picturesque lakeside setting and quiet ambiance. The restaurant is good for its fusion menu, combining local flavors with global influences from Italy with their pizzas to other sorts. The dishes are prepared with a focus on fresh ingredients. The staff is courteous, humble and helpful and the service is efficient. The prices are on the higher side, with the food being fresh, but less quantity and the most sad part of my visit was the chicken fry we ordered. It was supposed to be a whole chicken, which we confirmed with the staff, though they did mention it was going to be a "small chicken". They served a fried quail. The beautiful setting makes it worth a visit, especially during sunset but our experience fell short at the silly mistake they made and not being clear on the menu.

tl;dr - good for a lunch out due to excellent location. But do not stay overnight! Cons: The rooms are spacious and were well designed. However one can see the age and need for more upkeep, things like the door hinges that can't be locked, some of the lights weren't working, peeling paint etc. Weak wifi strength TV which wasn't working (apparently across the property due to a service provider issue). They got the cable tv service personnel to come and fix soon after but disturbed my napping parents with the frequent entry and exit of the technician. Eventually the TV didn't work. peace and quiet and a non jarring experience is what we were staying over for. Lack of a proper reception and no staff staying overnight is problematic. Pros: We stayed over for a night. Good location, conveniently accessible via Uber. The setting by the back waters is the best part, especially past 430pm when the sun is lower. The waters are serene. Service staff are quick and courteous. Open to requests and pleasantly hospitable. Food at the restaurant was just average especially given the pricing.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel, perfect for a staycation! Despite the small space, the natural beauty surrounding it made it feel incredibly serene. The weather seemed almost too perfect, as if it was orchestrated just for us--gentle winds, light drizzles, and birds chirping all around. It was the ideal spot to enjoy and relax. The evening tea, which was complimentary, was a lovely touch. We were also welcomed with a refreshing drink and offered coconut water in the evening.For those interested, there's an option to take a speedboat ride, though it does come at an additional cost of 2,500 for two people. There's also kayaking. However, the restaurant opens around noon at times, so before that, only tea is available, which is a bit of a drawback. Additionally, the restaurant closes at around 10 p.m. I guess. So, you can't order anything after 10. Overall, it was a great experience!

The vibe is surreal... it was a perfect weather when we went for a lunch. Chicken satay & coconut kalamari was amazing. The service is good. We enjoyed!

We recently had a team outing at The Space. The ambiance and service were excellent, and they offered a variety of continental dishes. While the food was delicious, the prices were on the higher side.
