First of all! A very good place to relax and eat. Dining space will utilise most of the natural breeze and be surrounded by greenery, will get some fresh air. They have a wide range of cuisines. Everything would be a decent pick. Good quality and quantity. Overall a good pic for small events, parties, etc. a private dining space is also available.

Calm and quiet location with a pleasant ambience. The serving staff were courteous and polite. We visited to celebrate a birthday, and they kindly allowed us to cut a cake we brought from outside, which many restaurants usually don't permit. However, the food was a bit disappointing. The soup, kallappam, and dragon chicken didn't meet our expectations. The fish curry was better compared to the rest of the menu. Overall, it was a slightly disappointing experience.

Visited Portico with high expectations but left quite disappointed. The food was far from impressive - even the basic porotta didn't taste like a proper porotta. Tried the beef pallicurry, egg roast, and chicken curry - all were just average at best. The golden fried squid was not upto the mark. The BBQ wrap was the only item that was somewhat okay. Service was slow and unorganized. When we ordered South Indian dishes, we were told it would take at least 25 minutes - which makes you wonder why they're even on the menu if they take that long. Giving 2 stars purely for the ambience, which was nice. But overall, not worth a repeat visit.

We had our first dine-in experience at The Portico Restaurant, which is set in a beautiful, green area with ample parking space available. Our group consisted of eight people. To start, we ordered Injipuli Chicken Wings, which were coated in a thick Injipuli sauce--a traditional Kerala dish made from tamarind, jaggery, and ginger. The tanginess was quite pronounced and didn't quite meet our expectations. Another starter we tried was Payyoli Chicken, a deep-fried chicken dish that was quite good. We also had Squid Varuval, which consisted of squid and onion deep-fried together; it was okay but nothing special. For the main course, we ordered Po rotta, mixed fried rice, Schezwan noodles, and kallappam. To accompany our meal, we chose Ammachis Duck Curry and Dragon Buffalo, Pal Cheemeen, Beef Kochulli, and Garlic Chicken. All the dishes were decent and we had lime soda and a couple of milkshakes to wash it down. It was a nice dine-in experience.

I recently tried the biryani at Portico, and I must say, it was quite nice - flavorful and well-prepared. The parking space here is definitely a plus, very convenient and ample. Service was also good, attentive and polite. However, there's a significant drawback: the open dining area. While lovely on a clear day, it becomes unusable during rain, which is a shame. This really limits seating options when the weather turns. Portico has a lot of potential and could easily be transformed into a truly excellent restaurant with some improvements to their outdoor seating to make it weather-proof. With a few tweaks, this place could shine!

The starters we ordered were served cold.. The main course dishes were served warm but that is after I informed our Stewart. For me personally, it's a one time visit considering the food taste. Great ambience and plenty of parking available.

Restaurant located near Pallikara. Beautiful and serene place to conduct small family parties and friend's get Together. I would suggest to go here during day time as you can find lot mosquitoes during evening time which is a bit issue. We ordered sweet corn chicken corn soup, mixed fried rice, paratha and Wayanadan varutharacha beef curry, fresh lime and mint lime. Price is bit over compared to other cafe and food is fine and

This place has got really great ambiance and its beautiful to be at night. I tried pink sauce pasta, and the taste was really good. They have got outdoor and indoor party space, good enough to conduct small functions such as birthday parties, get together etc. They have got kerala fusion dishes too.
