Customer Reviews & Testimonials

Marion Erskine

This has to be my absolute favourite restaurant in Kochi--I ended up eating here three times in three days, and each meal was a standout! On Day 1, I had the tomato soup and fish moilee--both were fantastic, with the moilee rich and perfectly spiced. Day 2 was chicken malai tikka, which was juicy, tender, and full of flavour. And on Day 3, I treated myself to butter chicken with garlic naan... finger-licking good doesn't even begin to cover it. The staff are attentive and genuinely friendly, making the experience even better. And whatever you do, don't miss the coconut shake. It's pure tropical heaven! A must-visit if you're in Kochi and love great Indian food served with a smile.

Rasoi Fort Kochi is an amazing place to dine! The staff is extremely polite and welcoming, making the experience even more enjoyable. The food is of excellent quality, bursting with authentic flavors, and presented beautifully. The restaurant itself has a great atmosphere with a lovely ambience, perfect for a relaxing meal. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience in Fort Kochi!

Standout meal so far in Kochi. The tikka masala was incredible - so spicy, so tasty and the chicken was cooked to perfection. The naan was thin and crispy, the perfect accompaniment. Everything here was tremendous, could not rate it more highly.

I recently visited Rasoi in Fort Kochi for a dinner date, and the experience was absolutely amazing! The ambiance was warm and inviting, making it perfect for the occasion. The food was exceptional--we tried the chicken curry with parottas and chicken tikka biryani, and both dishes were packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. The parottas were soft and flaky, pairing wonderfully with the rich, flavorful curry. The biryani was aromatic and had just the right blend of spices. The service was equally impressive; the staff was attentive and courteous, ensuring we had a great experience. Rasoi is definitely a must-visit for anyone looking for delicious food and excellent hospitality in Fort Kochi!

Rasoi Fort Kochi December 2023: I'm a traveller, and I find this place isn't for me. The food was good, but overpriced, and the portions were small. The dessert was a real disappointment. Service was great, as was the atmosphere. But this place is more for the rich traveller, who doesn't care about budgeting their costs. It's also a good place for a family meal. However, budget-minded travellers are better off avoiding this money-drain. 4 Stars

Wanted to give it a 4.5. We ordered one curry, veg pulao, malai broccoli and breads. Everything turned out to be good. Staff was courteous too. You will find a mix of Indian & foreign nationals. Atmosphere is quiet & decent. Waiters understand Hindi & English as well.

My cousin suggested me this restaurant saying that they have the best North Indian food in kochi. But sadly I have to say that they disappointed us. The restaurant and its ambience look wonderful but the food did not meet the expectations. There were 4 staff and only one table (we were the only one at that time in the restaurant). All the staffs were talking to each other and did not respond to our calls. As a host its their responsibility to make sure each customer is very well welcomed and attended at all time. I have to say that it was very disappointing experience. Will never suggest to anyone. People looking for North Indian food should look for better restaurants

We had a great meal at Rasoi Fort Kochi! The atmosphere was warm and friendly, with quite a few other diners around. We had haryali paneer tikka to start (which was amazing, some of the best paneer I've had so far on our trip), and then chicken curries, rice and naan to share for our main. The food was rich, creamy and indulgent, full of flavour and everything was absolutely delicious. The service we received was also really polite and friendly. All in all, a great experience and one I'd definitely recommend!
