The Salt Restaurant

Only visit here for the atmosphere. Honestly, I tasted one of the worst manthis in my life. If you check my reviews, you can see the wide variety of manthi reviews I have posted. But this one is the worst of all time. Tried peri peri alfam and normal alfam manthi. Both were disastrous and chicken was like a rubber belt. Expect wait to get seat atleast 10 to 20 min in peak hours on weekends. Again 20 min wait time is there to get food. Just visit here for the atmosphere. That is top-notch; the food is meh!

The Salt Restaurant provides a commendable dining experience. You'll find nice service and a genuinely peaceful atmosphere. Crucially, the food is very tasty. My order of tea was satisfying, and the appam and karimeen were particularly delicious highlights of the meal.

A beautiful location and will laid out restaurant with parking. Serving staff is will trained and food preparation is ok. Great views of the channel and the bridge. Good place to spend an evening.

Quality food received in all the recent visits. I was hesitant to go to Salt after a bad experience a couple of years ago, but I recently gave them a try again and have been going back for more. I've been happy with their curries, and their porotta is one of the best from a standard restaurant I've had. Would be going again to try a couple more dishes as they have a pretty wide menu.

Visited Salt Restaurant in Thoppumpady and had an amazing experience! The waterfront view of the Kochi BOT bridge was stunning. The ambiance was great, and dining while seeing the sea added to the experience. The food was delicious, especially the Chicken Broasted Manthi and Chicken Alfaham Manthi. The chilli chutney was a highlight, and the mayonnaise and tomato chutney were also great accompaniments, along with the fresh veggies. Good service, ample parking, and conveniently located at Thoppumpady Junction. Highly recommended!

The location is excellent, next to the backwaters. Have to climb the staircase to reach the restaurant. Food is good. Service is also good. The seating arrangement/ interior is bit funny - at several levels!! Restaurant is popular for Seafood and we enjoyed the food

The salt restaurant in thappumpadi is one of the good restaurants in that area that I have dines in . The view of that area good . You can eat peacefully with the serene view of the lake . And the food there is good and safe . Mostly you should visit in the evening . The food making is transparent so no need to worry about that. The restaurant is neat and has a cool vibe to it .
