Fraudulent, Unhygienic & Misleading - A Total Disaster of a Restaurant I made the worst mistake today by trusting the Google reviews and walking into IRA Restaurant, Kothamangalam. What I experienced wasn't just bad food -- it was a disgusting, dishonest, and completely fraudulent customer experience that deserves to be called out loud and clear. We ordered butter chicken and specifically asked for boneless -- not once, but twice. The staff confirmed it was boneless. But what we received looked like scraps picked out of leftover biriyani -- broken bones, barely any meat, and no taste. It was filthy and felt like leftover kitchen waste passed off as a main dish. When we raise the issue, another staff member suddenly tells us they don't even have boneless chicken! So the person who took our order lied to our face just to force an order out of us. This is nothing short of cheating. Who runs a restaurant like this? And the worst part -- within an hour, I ended up with a stomach upset. So not only was the food fake and tasteless, but also unhygienic. If health and honesty matter to you, avoid this place at all costs. To add to the mess, they charged us for 3 soda lime drinks we never ordered. When questioned, they casually said it was meant for another table and just billed us by mistake. They returned my cash, in hand, after i went there a second time. This clearly shows how poorly they manage billing and how easily they can steal from customers if not careful. I'm attaching photo proof of the bill and the so-called food so people can see what a scam this place is. IRA Restaurant - you should be ashamed to run a food business like this. This kind of unethical behavior and low-grade food can actually put people's health at risk. If this is how you treat customers, you don't deserve to have a business at all.

We had tried alfaham and chicken fried rice. Both were average in taste. Good atmosphere inside and neat and clean washrooms. Have limited parking space infront. staffs we're very friendly and cooperative. Alfaham was little hard and the taste was good for both fried rice and alfaham.

During my recent visit , i had alfaham, which was well cooked and delicious. The flavors were well-balanced, and the meat was cooked to perfection, leaving me satisfied.However, I also tried their shake called Spanish Delite, and I found it to be average. While it had a decent taste, it didn't quite live up to my expectations also it was over priced. Despite this, the overall dining experience was pleasant, with friendly staff and a cozy ambiance. The staff are very professional and the hospitality is good, I would definitely recommend giving this restaurant a try.

A nice family restaurant in Kothamangalam with a good ambience and a welcoming atmosphere. The food was delicious, especially the biryani, which stood out with its rich flavors. Service was decent, though there's always room for a little improvement. Overall, a great place for a satisfying meal--definitely worth a 4/5!

Went to this place after 3 years. And surprisingly everything remains the same. They had maintained the restaurant very well. Still, people choose this place for having a good time. I tried their chicken biriyani as part of recreating my memories regarding this place. Loved it, but the chicken was a bit salty. They keep the egg inside the biriyani which is rare among most hotels out there. I liked it the most. Watermelon juice was also refreshing.

We had a good food experience there. Nice quiet ambience, service and good food too. We ordered hot n sour chicken soup, mixed noodles , beef briyani, kulcha and dragon chicken. We started with the soup first, soup was too thick, it was a decent one. Then dragon chicken, mixed noodles and kulcha was good. Nice quality stuff. Beef briyani was disappointing, not up to the exception. Do try their dragon chicken, I do recommend this. Overall a nice experience.

I would give a five cuz it was amazing.. Food is really great.. They will only get us food after well prepared so it takes time actually.. But whats the hurry even if we are home it will take time right?? I liked there table arrangement kind of giving maximum privacy there.. And the decorations are cool Wash area lighting is good for introvert cuz its kind of dark there with yellow light we its great. Parking is pretty good
