The Silvertips Kothamangalam( Ayurvedic Resort and Convention centre). 4 Star Deluxe

I travel frequently for work and have stayed in countless hotels, but this was hands down the worst guest experience I've ever had. From the outset, the service was shockingly poor. The reception staff were consistently rude, unhelpful, and dismissive. My infant was often woken up in the mornings because the housekeeping staff would be shouting and laughing in the corridors and it could be heard inside the rooms loudly through closed doors. I was also double charged for breakfast (once by the hotel and once via Expedia) and despite multiple daily followups, neither party is taking responsibility. Both continue to blame each other, and I have yet to receive a resolution or refund. My family also got food poisoning from the food served at the bar/ restaurant on the 4th floor. What truly crossed the line, however, was the behavior of the hotel's security guard. While waiting to load heavy luggage into a cab (with my infant asleep in my arms) we politely asked him for the gate to be opened for easier access. Not only did he refuse, but he also refused to inform the cab driver that he would not open the gate for him and that he has to use another route and gate. When we pointed out that it was rude of him not to inform the drivers this, he began swearing at my elderly mother. His behaviour was aggressive, disrespectful and completely unacceptable!! This hotel is absolutely undeserving of its four star rating. The attitude of the staff, the lack of accountability, and the complete disregard for guest comfort make it a place I would never recommend to anyone. Avoid at all costs.

We had a fantastic team lunch at silvertips, Kothamangalam. The ambiance was warm and inviting, perfect for a group gathering. The food was delicious, with a great variety of dishes that catered to different tastes. The service was prompt and courteous, making the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend it for team outings or family get-togethers! Would like to visit again..........

I stayed for a night. The place is good for couple of days stay. Everything is good, right from front desk to rooms to food, nothing to complain. ||It is located in the center of the town, close to everything. But it is quiet inside the hotel| |Manager at the front desk was very helpful. The food was great. Overall had a great experience

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Silvertips in Kothamangalam, and I must say it was a wonderful experience! The hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. The staff were friendly.rooms were clean and comfortable, and the amenities were top-notch.I would highly recommend Silvertips to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Kothamangalam. The hotel's excellent service, combined with its comfortable and clean facilities, make it an ideal choice for travelers

Had breakfast at the restaurant .. located at kothamangalam .. had poori baji , appam & kadala curry , bread & jam along wit coffee .. the food was ok but one would expect more options at a 4 star hotel .. the seating area also appears to be on the lower side for a 4 star hotel

We just stayed there to attend a wedding in Kothamangalam. The property's wonderful general manager, Mr. Varghese, provided us with the worst service we had ever encountered. Aside from his unethical attitude, the ambience, the room, the facilities, and the staff's actions are all quite wonderful. I would like to award a five out of five to the property, but his attitude has only earned Zero but I am giving 1. Until he working there, I would never suggest it to anyone. I ask that the management provide him with specialised training on how to interact with and behave among guests. Additionally, please appoint a good general manager who is familiar with customer service. I respect people's age, and the only thing that matters is that he's safe; otherwise, things might go differently, like me at the police station and him at the hospital. This could assist the management maintain satisfied clients in the future, in my opinion.

Visited this hotel for the restaurant for breakfast with a friends' group .. food options are less considering that its a 4 star hotel but food is ok .. but coffee was cold .. parking space is difficult for bigger vehicles .. seating area is slightly less for large groups ..

Our stay at silver tips kothamagalam was truly exceptional the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating the rooms were spotless and beautfully designed, and the location was perfect for exploring the city. The comfortable beds and thoughtful amenities made for a truly relaxing experience. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting kothamagalam
