A place with nice ambiance. Have cottages to stay, boating facility and many more. Place is so beautiful with a rain forest vibe. Has a pool with good scenary and have a waterfall. Entry fee will be refunded if we eat from the restaurant inside and show the bill at reception. Mostly scenaries are man made. Have a outdoor sitting area,a gathering place and many more. Good customer service. Reception areas are filled with antique look a likes and have a good sitting area. Overall Nice

First to define about the rain forest ayur resort cafe is it's exemplary ambience,surrounded by constructed waterfalls,rain and small river like water body..Located at Kottayam and approximately about 5-8 kms from the Kottayam main town. The Restaurant provides a wide variety of tasty dishes and best service.Its a best idea to preorder the food and then to go&enjoy the scenarios and surroundings so that the waiting time for the food to get prepared can be saved and is a worthy of time since the restaurant is inside the excellently surrounded rainforest resort. They also provide kottavanchi and pedel boat ride in the waterfall area on the payment basis. The entry fee is 100Rs for a person and this money is returned back if we had food from the restaurant and had the bill shown at the reception on leaving .Stay in available and parking facility is ample Overall a best and a recommended stress buster with family&friends chillouts and to enjoy the rainforest atmosphere.

Located in the heart of kottayam it's more of a restaurant inside small rainforest resort with excellent surrounding ambience and cafe could have been better if it was situated outdoors. They only have limited staff so the food we ordered took time for serving and coming to the options it's limited to only Indian and Chinese food . Continents is not available now . Rates were average to high priced . We got meals and prawns which was good. Very limited staff. Would recommend just to enjoy the ambience of outdoor rainforest and waterfalls.

Very poor experience at this restaurant. The food was of very poor quality and it took nearly an hour to receive it. The service was also slow . I was extremely disappointed with my visit and would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

The ambience is exemplary. The resort has an artificial waterfall with bath facility & Kottavanchi ride on payment basis. Apart from that they have the facility for artificial rain and rain dance.

We went there by traveling around 40kms with family just for the rainforest experience and they said They ARE NOT ACCEPTING GUESTS. In my opinion we should never go to this place unless we can book the entire property in advance. They don't even allowed us to get out of the car. No option to rate below 1 star.

So firstly this place is located inside a housing facility and is really tough to find. Secondly the parking was very crowded so if you're in a car it will be very tough to enter and exit. These are true of all restaurants to an extent. But what really spoiled my day was restrictions on the place. You have a limited amount of area if you are not renting a cottage and it can be covered in 5-10 minutes. This is NOT! worth the 100rs entry fee. Also the cafe was closed when we had specifically asked if it was open and they answered yes. We had to eat in the cottagers dining area with drunk tenants and one of the sinks was filled with vomit. The food was mediocre but the bill wasn't. 180+ tax for a fruit salad. They tried to charge us more than the menu price for the Veg fried rice we ordered but we caught onto it. There is no thrill or fun in going to this place. Just a waste of time!

We went to this cafe with a lot of expectations, however the place was poorly maintained and the restaurant has poor ambience and not much of a selection of foods. The cafe is more like a restaurant and many of their food in the menu weren't available too. The place is a actually resort and travelling to most areas inside the place itself is restricted to the people who have booked the resort. Overall there isn't much to see or taste here.
