Hotel Indraprastha

We visited Indraprastha for lunch and tried their biriyani, meals, and karimeen fry. The food tasted good -- flavors were satisfying and the overall quality was decent. However, the prices were surprisingly high for a restaurant of this type. A small karimeen fry was priced at Rs. 500, a biriyani ranged between Rs. 260-300 + tax, and a basic Kerala meal cost Rs. 220 + tax. Even a simple fresh lime juice was billed at Rs. 70 + GST, which felt excessive. If you're someone who doesn't mind spending a premium for ambience and convenience, this place might suit you. But if you're looking for value for money, there are many other restaurants in Kottayam that offer tasty, quality food at much more affordable prices.

Stayed for a day. The rooms are well maintained and spacious. The food is amazing. The health club and swimming pool were under maintenance and this was not communicated during booking. So if you need those services, better make sure of it.

Nothing here is as promised. Our room AC stopped working in the middle of the night. Thankfully the night manager gave us another room immediately and told us we didn't have to shift our things. Frankly the only reason we got decent sleep was because of him (he's relatively new but thinks quickly) the older staff I found gave reasons and rules more than fixing the problem or admitting an error The restaurant in the first floor is adjacent to the bar. And the whole floor was filled with smoke so much so that my family couldn't eat breakfast in the morning. I could see it last night too. Am sure it was from the bar where they either don't have a smoking lounge or just allow patrons to smoke inside. Thankfully room service worked decently. Food is not bad There are better options in town (we tried to avoid traffic and booked here but wasn't worth it) or head to Kumarakom if that is better.

I had a terrible experience at this hotel. The service was extremely poor - the staff were rude and careless. The food was even worse - it tasted bad and seemed unhygienic. Unfortunately, after eating here, my friend fell seriously ill and had to be hospitalised. This place is not safe for anyone. I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel at all costs.

Do you know the difference between face towel and bath towel. Your four face towels will cost less then 1$ and those are not premium as you claim. Premium towels you have not seen yet and not available in that part of your village. Normal face towels are complementary in star hotels. You cling on to your 1$ towel and insult your guests. Next put cctv inside rooms also and sit with a microscope. As is the owner so is the staff

Excellent room, nice and helpful staff. It was a very good stay. The only problem I had was WiFi dropping intermittently. Reasonable rates. I will stay here again.

Awesome Hotel||We stayed at this Hotel for 4 nights and it was really a mind blowing experience. Being IHG members we were given a room of our choice, huge room, higher floor with a view of the backwaters. Check in was smooth. ...

Very bad and arrogant peoples.. Stupid and very very bad hotel and front office employees. At the time of checked in they allowed early check in and evening they called asked extra payment. While discussing with front office boy he replied very rudely and shouting to guest. There were no air-conditioning working in rooms and asked for maintenance. Even asked multiple time no one came and attended same.
