Hotel Kottayam Grand

We stayed here for 2 days to attend a wedding in Kottayam during the 1st week of Jan 2025. we had booked 3 rooms n we got it all together in a row. It's a small 3 star hotel, & close to the city center (10 min drive) The rooms are kinda small. so after adding an additional bed in one of the room, it was tight space. The rooms looked really good, new n well designed. the washrooms had all good accessories n plenty of hot water in the rainfall shower. however deep cleaning & maintenance could be improved. Rooms had split unit A/c which were all working. we also got an interconnected room, which was convenient for kids. Breakfast is available at the restaurant which again was very well designed n maintained. however the food options are less. you have only 2 choices of main course n eggs with coffee/ tea. Though limited in option , it was good taste, & we could order more quantity. overall good place to crash n get refreshed.

Parking of 10-13 cars present. Guarded manually. Room given was good sized. Good interiors. Hude washroom. But AC was not effective at all. After 1 hr of AC trial we complained and we were upgraded to suit. Suit had sitting area with extremely good AC, 2 washrooms (one of them had shower area) . Washroom was smaller than regular previous room. Ac of bedroom was effective but not super chilling like that of sitting area. All toilleteries provided in small bottles only. Bean n clean linen n towel. Fan regulator was not working , so fan couldn't be switched on.

Great service, absolutely nice food and neat, well maintained and cosy rooms. Really enjoyed our stay.

Veryy bad about reasturent manger When i i was came the restaruent with my fam. The service and food are verry good but In the last time i talk to the as: manger but she not any response to coustmer she talk like a stranger. Respect to the grand hotel mangement will you please check the as: manger take some decision about him all about the hotel me and my fam also enjoy the palce and all....
