I rarely leave negative reviews, but our experience at Spice and Rice was incredibly disappointing. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel unwelcome.. It only got worse from there. Our server was inattentive and rude. When we asked about a fresh lime on the menu,he is not taken the order and after repeatedly asking he serve very disrespectful

I came across this restaurant while driving on the bypass road via Thiruvanchoor and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food served here. They have live fish which one can choose to be fried or curried as per one's preferences. The food tastes great and is reasonably priced. The seating is clean and spacious and could improve with the service.

I recently visited this restaurant and ordered porottas, paneer butter masala, and beef curry. The food itself was decent, but there was a huge issue with the pricing. Unfortunately, I didn't inquire about the prices beforehand, and when the bill arrived, I was shocked. The paneer butter masala was charged at 375 rupees for a half portion, and the beef curry was priced at 320 rupees for a half portion as well. Nowhere did we ask for a half or quarter portion, we simply ordered one of each dish. To make matters worse, when I questioned the staff about the prices, they just shrugged and said that the charges were the same for everyone. I've never encountered such high prices for simple curries, especially in a normal restaurant setting. The food might be okay, but these prices are completely unreasonable. It felt like we were being taken advantage of, and it left a bad taste in my mouth--not just from the food, but from the experience.

Disappointing Experience - Poor Service & Bad Food I had a terrible experience at this hotel. The chicken was absolutely bad, and the food quality was extremely disappointing. To make things worse, the staff at the counter showed no sense of responsibility or courtesy--not even an apology for the poor service. Waiting for a response was pointless as they didn't seem to care about customer satisfaction. If you're looking for good food and decent service, this is NOT the place. Wouldn't recommend it at all!

Really disappointed ,we were travelling from kochi to tvm accidentally we entered this hotel and placed order chicken curry and beef curry ,I think they are providing old curry from past week ,really pathetic food and over priced ,please dont visit and eat food here

I don't think there is another establishment in Kottayam that hates customers by making them lag like this. Waiting for hours to get essentials is annoying. If they don't know how to deal with customers, as a corporate company staff, I can teach them for free.
