The Calicut Kitchen

Me and my best friend were on our way to Kottayam, absolutely starving so much that my stomach started making its own background music.. We spotted Calicut Kitchen and decided to give it a shot. Ordered the Alfahm Mandi, and wow, just wow..The chicken was juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The ambience was cool and comfortable. The service was nice. Safe to say, this place saved two hungry travelers that day! Definitely coming back for more.

Decent food and good ambience. Ample parking space. Customer service needs improvement. Butter chicken is a must try.. Their peri peri Al faham is also good.. Located opposite to Pittappillil agencies, Nagampadam.. The restaurant might get busy during afternoon

I visited Calicut kitchen restaurant recently, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience due to the service. Upon arrival, we weren't greeted right away, and it took quite a while for our server to acknowledge us. Once seated, the server seemed distracted and didn't provide us with the usual level of attention or care. It's a shame because the food has potential, but poor service can really ruin the dining experience. Hopefully, management can address the service issues, as I'd be hesitant to return anytime soon.

Good ambience, service and food. Tried few times and had good experience everytime. Ambience and seating is really good. Food was tasty and service was quick. Enough parking available but might be bit difficult for 4 wheelers during peak hours. Have clean washrooms and toilet facilities. Accept cash cards and UPI payments.

A well maintained restaurant. Spacious and hygiene environment. Ordered a chicken Mandi, it was delicious.

Very nice food especially chilly chicken and beef roast.with fried rice and porota. And Mr.Mahesh is very friendly. Very good service.

Had take away order. Tried Chicken Biriyani and Fish Biryani, both had high oil/ fat content which made it less likely. They said they use Neymeen in fish biryani, never felt like that in taste and also the head portion of the fish was used in the portion served in our parcel which was terrible. Food was not good.
