Location is so nice and food also fantastic but cleanliness needs to improve..Plates what we received during dinner was so disapointing but we asked for banana leaf.Crab roast,pallathi fry,vararl fry,duck roast are of superb taste

The toddy shop is located at a very beautiful location with beautiful ponds and fields all around. The road to the shop is not that good.You can park your vehicle some few metres away from the shop and have to walk a bit. You should be careful while walking because on one side there is water. Usually families also visit this place. You can get good varities of food along with toddy. The dishes that we tried includes, *Kappa *Appam *Porota *Pork fry *Beef fry *Duck curry *Chicken curry All the curries and dishes were really taste. I really liked the pork fry. You can get different types of fish fry and curries. There is an outdoor hut like dining option available, preferable for family. You can enjoy good food with good nature.

Aha!! Amazing food and kllll (coconut toddy) served in an old ssaapp (toddy parlour). The beef roast we had from here was an absolute wonder. Reminded me of the beef curries that were cooked on an attupp (open flame) in an urulli (olden time kerala cooking utencil) by my grandmother, 20-25yrs back. It was a retasting adventure of olden times cooking and blew our minds with its taste. The beef fry was equally delicious and rekindled memories from eating in a ssaapp back in my early college days. The place, flanked by paddy fields on one side and knaal vrmp (canal boundary) on the other with a continuous illN kaarrrr (breeze) gave it a relaxed and refreshing natural setting to enjoy the cool and tasty kllll. This place for me was relic from my past and I enjoyed every minute I spent here, reinvigorating and repainting the memories of sight, taste and emotions I have of such places from my past.

Such a cute place set far outskirts of the township and it's surrounded by lush green and a tiny river in front of the Toddy shop. The view is really relaxing. The food is great! Been here multiple times, from Kappa to Lobster, all fresh and served hot! Karimeen Polichathu was cooked to perfection, so was the lobster. The kallu (Toddy) that you get here is also fresh and brilliant! A must visit Toddy shop if you are in and around Kottayam!!

Awesome location with a canal on one side and paddy fields on the other side. Except for the location i didn't find anything special in this place. Food is just average. The price is very high for the quality they provides.

They will take us to their kitchen and let us choose the fish we need. It's on the spicier side as expected from these shops. Don't expect much cleanliness but the locals are good and it's women friendly. There are 2 cottages outside for families. The toddy also tasted good. Scenic surroundings too.

"Difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations"...This place justifies the saying... This is a gem of a place hidden between paddy fields..The food was outstanding , each better than the other...We ordered Kappa with fish curry, pearl spot (Karimeen) fry wrapped in banana leaf, Snakehead murrel (Varaal) fry...The speciality of the parlor is they serve Freshwater fish and dont expect to get lobsters , crab etc all the time ..They also had pork and beef in the menu.. Alongwith kallu (toddy), it is a wonderful experience to come and enjoy seafood in the midst of nature ..Dont expect a 5 star experience, its a shaap which has its own vibe to it ..
