Uduppi Pure Vegetarian Restaurant

Uduppi Pure Vegetarian Restaurant was once a great place for a good vegetarian meal, but unfortunately, the quality has declined over time. The service has become disappointing, with staff being unprofessional and even engaging in arguments in front of customers. The cleanliness, especially upstairs, is not maintained properly, with an unpleasant smell affecting the dining experience. The food quality has also dropped to an average level, lacking the taste and freshness it once had. Overall, the experience was far from satisfying, and the management needs to take immediate action to improve the service and hygiene.

One of the oldest places to have great food. I had been a frequent traveller through Kottayam railway station. Once this place was famous for its food but i think it has declined to a level that people are not getting in and never comes back. I feel sorry to this place which has a long history of tastes

Coffees was so awful Jan 7 i got another veg restaurant near by sree aryas it was damn good, a/c hotel , masala dosa was something reminds me of food i had in brindavan kochi and place is so neat and the coffee was a coffee instead of that awful something uduppi serves , really pathetic make some things that feel good and compete on price. Best part of both hotel same price for masala dosa and coffee

We have been traveling to Sabrimala temple and for about 2 years we have been ordering food from this restaurant. Recently we travelled to Thiruvananthapuram and ordered food from here, it's really tasty and completely packed food was so hot even after 4 hours of time . The sambhar was tasty and it was prepared in Tamilnadu style. All my friends and family liked a lot Thanks for the extreme care taken for all the preparation.

Had a veg fried rice, also a thali. Overall the taste was okey. You have to take the token first. Maybe because the railway station is nearby. Quite reasonable for a thali in Kottayam. Felt that the staffs are bit uncooperative. For the thali they didn't bring the Achar, and when asked it came after some arguments between them. Read other reviews about the staffs. I thought I got some better responses because the owner lady was there. Anyways the thali is reasonable for Rs 100.

As of my experience it's kind of nice experience to come sit there and have coffee and idli in the morning , i recommend this place as i personally liked the idli over there . And I don't think any complaint is there maybe we have to wait sometimes a little bit that's all

Very bad service and bad food. You can try any other nearby hotel. I do not recommend this place.
