Customer Reviews & Testimonials
Had a great experience at Al-Taza Shawarma in Kozhikode! As expected from the brand, the shawarma was absolutely delicious--juicy, well-seasoned, and served fresh. It's exactly what you'd hope for from a place known for their quality and consistency. The table service was efficient and friendly, making the visit smooth and enjoyable. The ambience matches the familiar vibe of their other franchises--clean, modern, and perfect for a relaxed meal with friends or family. If you're craving a good shawarma in town, this spot is definitely worth checking out. Consistent quality, great service, and a comfortable setting--what more can you ask for?
Al Taza Kozhikode is a popular food spot in Kozhikode city . The food at Al Taza is generally excellent, with standout items :However, sometimes they are inconsistent with quality, The restaurant has a nice indoor setup with air conditioning, making it a comfortable spot to dine. The ambiance is pleasant, with high quality cleanliness and hygiene practices. The service at Al Taza is generally prompt, The prices are reasonable, but think that the Beverages, in particular, are a bit expensive. Overall, Al Taza Kozhikode is a great spot , with delicious food and a pleasant ambiance. However, consistency in quality and pricing might be areas for improvement. If you're a fan of shawarma , Al Taza is definitely worth trying.
Even though we've ordered shawarma online from here before, this was our first time visiting the restaurant. The shawarma was decent, but nothing to boast about. I personally prefer a classic shawarma over the Al Taza style. What really took away from the experience were the soggy french fries placed on top of the shawarma, they weren't tasty, and they made up nearly half of the filling. The mayonnaise also had an unusually sweet taste, which didn't quite work for me. On a positive note, the rumali roti was very soft and well made. Not value for money. Overall, it didn't feel like value for money. One suggestion, please address the issue of flies in the restaurant, as it affects the overall dining experience.
Delicious and fresh food with great quality. The 2 large skewers show how busy and popular the place is. Service was fast, and the prices were reasonable to the food quality being served.
Just tried the shawarma at Al Taza, and I have to say--this one stands out from the rest in Calicut. It had a truly authentic Arabian flavor that you rarely find locally. The seasoning, the meat, and even the wrap felt like a proper Middle Eastern experience. Way better than the usual local versions. Highly recommend if you're craving something genuinely different.
Overall okay but expensive. easy to locate. Moonnalingal jn. Near beach. quality shawarma. neat and clean restaurant. toilet facility available. ample parking available. * expensive choice.
When we visit Kozhikode beaches, we stumbled upon this restaurant. On Google, the restaurant has good reviews, so we stepped in. Service could be better. Sharwarma was good and great. Food is served in a wooden plate along with cucumber and chilies.
If you're looking for a hearty, flavorful shawarma, this is a must-try! The presentation was excellent, and the quality of the ingredients truly stood out. Highly recommended for all shawarma lovers!
