Customer Reviews & Testimonials

I would highly recommend this cafe for its elegant interiors and peaceful dining experience. Their croissants were fresh and buttery. Chicken Steak with burgundy sauce was quite good, but not exceptionally good. This cafe offers ample parking space. They do have a nice lawn area with seating arrangement and swings. Their service was also impressive.

The Traveler

Reached here with a lot of expectations, at about 8 pm on an otherwise normal weekday, the service was a let down from the start and mediocre at best. I asked for soup suggestion and was told to go for the french based chicken soup, and was instead served pumpkin soup (which wasn't too bad). We tried out their chicken cajun wings which would have been okie if not for being smothered in the sauce, some may like it, I didn't care for it much. But the real let down came in the form of the hand stretched Sourdough pizza which was supposedly whole meal, but neither my wife nor my boy liked it, we removed the cheese and ended up having the base since we were quite hungry. I'd have surely overlooked the let down in the food taste if the service had been better, but truth be told service was almost non existent although we were seated right in front of the counter. They had a few kinds of bread on display, viz , Sourdough, brioche loaf, focaccia, braided chocolate babka, amongst others. The outdoor seating could be quite appealing in the right weather. Ample parking space. For me & my wife this place was quite the letdown.

The service was excellent, and the food was really good. I chose to sit outside and had a great time enjoying the atmosphere. While I did feel that the food and beverages were a bit overpriced, the overall experience made up for it. We were warmly welcomed by a lady staff member who was friendly and very helpful, which added to the positive experience. I'll definitely be coming back to try more dishes!

We liked the bambolinis and the Mango banana smoothie. We would recommend the Chicken croissant with chicken sandwich for a must try if you've come for a different kind of sandwich. Sticky mango rice was on par or better than the one we had in a Thai restaurant abroad. Silken Chicken Crisps Tart was average.

A must try for dessert lovers. Did not try any savoury dishes so can't speak for them. Loved the blueberry cheesecake. Service was excellent And the ambience is top-notch.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER... WHILE HAVING FOOD WAITRESS ASKED US TO CHANGE OUR SEAT TO ACCOMMODATE OTHER COSTOMERS I've been looking forward to visiting this cafe for a long time, and today I finally had the chance. I was thrilled to travel all the way from Malappuram just to try their famous breads. However, my excitement quickly turned to disappointment. While my mother and I were enjoying our meal, a waitress asked us to change our seats to accommodate other customers. Her request left me feeling insulted, especially since I had never experienced such poor treatment at any other cafe before. We spent over 1500 rupees on lunch, and I expressed my disappointment with the service. As for the food, the croissant sandwich was excellent, but the sourdough Hawaiian chicken fell short of our expectations. The hazelnut French toast was only average and didn't live up to the hype, while the orange mojito was a letdown due to the lack of syrup and insufficient sweetness. Overall, this negative experience completely ruined my day.

Tucked away in the silent corner of Kozhikode, Lady Loafella is a charming little gem that blends elegance with warmth. From the moment you step in, the ambience wraps you in a cozy, thoughtfully curated aesthetic -- soft lighting, rustic wood finishes, and a calm, welcoming vibe that makes you want to linger just a little longer. The menu is a delightful fusion of international flavors with a distinct flair. The Korean cream cheese bun is a must-try -- pillowy soft with a rich, tangy filling that strikes the perfect balance between sweet and savory. Equally impressive is their mushroom crispy pastry, which delivers layers of buttery crunch filled with a hearty, umami-packed mushroom medley. Their white sauce pasta is comfort food done right -- creamy without being heavy, with a perfectly cooked pasta base and a generous touch of herbs. On the sweeter side, the pistachio-filled pain au chocolat is a showstopper: flaky, golden pastry enveloping a rich pistachio cream and dark chocolate -- indulgent and unforgettable. Can't wait to visit again

Today thought of taking mum out for breakfast. I love eating breakfast more than any other meals. Today was a little different as I wanted to hit to Lady Loafella! Had been there for dinner couple of times first time with family and other time with friends. They always maintain a well lit ambience and very courteously behaved staff especially the empress (owner) who runs the show. Very well versed in language and definitely know what she does. Their breads are exquisite as I am a traveler and traveling for food has been a go to for me for quite sometime now. Today we wanted to opt out from eggs so I had ordered their Bagel (homemade bagel with cream cheese and beef) and hash browns, The bagels were really good it tasted like bagels that you get at the streets of Sultan Ahmet, Istanbul and the US perhaps a little better when it comes to the quality that you get in the US and equivalent to the ones at Istanbul. Tiramisu french toast, tiramisu has always been a fav when it comes to cakes. However, as a toast it is a new comer for me. It was very unique and tasted really good and spell bound. And, almond croissant for the sweet tooth :) I must admit all of it was hitting my primordial cords distinctly. It was heavenly! and The last time I have tried my fav almond croissant was from El Almacen at sunny isles beach, Miami, FL an Argentinian coffee shop but The Lady is something distinct in character and taste. Really good! We both loved the breakfast. Would visit there again :) Thank you and keep going like this in full scale. All the best for future endeavour.
