Komala Pure Vegetarian Restaurant And Bakery

I recently visited Komala Pure Veg Restaurant for their ongoing Dosa Fest (Jan 15-31, 2025), featuring an incredible variety of 50 dosa options! I tried the Wheat Butter Masala Dosa and Mushroom Masala Dosa, and both were absolutely delightful. Each dosa had a unique taste, perfectly blending flavors and textures. The highlight for me was the freshness and richness of the ingredients, which made the dosas stand out. I also had their tea, and it was superb--aromatic and refreshing, a perfect companion to the meal. If you're a dosa lover or looking to explore innovative dosa varieties, this festival is a must-visit!

We recently dined at this restaurant,Unfortunately the veg biryani and ghee roast we ordered fell short of our expectations, particularly the white chutney, which tasted stale. However, we've always been impressed with their bakery offerings, which consistently deliver on quality and freshness. Hopefully, the restaurant will take steps to improve their food quality and consistency

Absolutely loved the food! Fresh, tasty, and satisfying. A great spot for pure vegetarian meals. Highly recommended!

Best masaladosa-80, coffee-30, an AC restaurant with quiet ambiance, music is there. Service is top notch as it should be. The seats are sofa and partition is there. Overall good food, hygienic place

I tried masala dosa it was so good and the three dishes served with that also good but uzhunnu vada is not much good in evening ( i think)

It's a decent place for breakfast. Had masala and ghee dosa. Both were good.Please do try their cashewnut balls from their bakery. It's so good and delicious.The person at the cashier is such a sweet person and was checking if we had visited places around.

Komala Bakery is own of the most renowned bakeries in Kunnamkulam or even Thrissur. I have always been a customer. My father used to take me here for buying chips, cales etc. and even I go here now. It shifted its location multiple times but the taste is still great and the name is still a brand. When im in Kunnamkulam I always buy something to take it back to the place I stay. All the stuff made here are good. I particularly liked the hard icing cake and the cross cut banana chips a lot. I think the hard icing cake is out of fashion now. But still they will make it based on order i presume. Anyway I highly recommend this place. Note that I have only reviewed the bakery and not the hotel as I have not had anything from the hotel but im sure it should be good and reasonable. I clicked some pics of the cakes and sweets and the kozhikodan halwa with the permission of the cashier/owner.

On our way back to Thrissur, we had a nice food at the Komala Pure Vegetarian Restaurant and Bakery in Kunnamkulam. It has been around for decades and serves some pleasing food. Decently fast service took this restaurant to the next level. The ambience is fine and full of comfort, and it becomes one more charm to our experience. This needs to be noted: the restaurant is on an upper floor, which might cause some inconvenience to certain patrons. Nevertheless, the Komala Pure Vegetarian Restaurant and Bakery is a true testament in Kunnamkulam to timeless quality and service.
