Thom's Cafe | Thiruvalla

I gave one star only because there is no option to give a zero or negetive star rating. Today we a group of seven went there and spent some time there. Staffs are very rude and non friendly. In Thomson Cafe food is very nasty. It's very unpleasant to taste. Overall hygiene is very bad.

I ordered a cream of spinach soup . The reason I ordered soup was cos I was down with viral fever and an inflamed throat and couldn't eat solid food . They gave me five spoons of soup in a stale old bun . I requested the waiter to pls serve me soup in a bowl . He denied and said this is how we serve soup . Good way to finish off the old buns and fleece me of 120 bucks !

I visited this place with a group to have ice cream. The selection is poor and it doesn't qualify as an ice cream place as they have just 5 variants. They don't customize or even give customize. They just miss the whole point of good service. It's over-hyped and I guess it's due to the lack of other places in the area. I do not think I'd want to visit again.

This place offers a limited menu currently. It is clean and the staff is friendly and I suppose it is suitable for a meal to fill your stomach. Prices are a bit high for food that doesn't really offer value in terms of flavour but the quantity is sufficient. The biryani stands out. There's only chicken, no other kind. The noodles and rice is bland, no creative recipe or attempt to make it tasteful. The chilli gobi went overboard with the chilli, I suppose you would enjoy it if you have a cast iron stomach. But the garlic chicken was delicious. For some reason, the dishes with chicken were cooked well, others were not that appealing overall. The manchurian was average.

Very nice cafeteria with a grocery store between Kuttappuzha and Kizhakkan muthur on Mallappally - Thiruvalla road. Good place for snacks & quick bites and drinks and ice creams. Having adequate parking facility.Easy to notice on normal traffic. The cafeteria is very clean and hygienic. Nice place to bring young kids.
