ALKAMANDI RESTAURANT NADAPURAM

We had high hopes when we decided to visit Alka Mandi in Nadapuram, especially after calling them beforehand to confirm if normal chicken mandi was available. They assured us it would be ready in 30 minutes, so we traveled 5 km to dine there. Unfortunately, upon arrival, we were informed that normal chicken mandi wasn't available--completely different what they had speak over the phone. The only option left was alfaham mandi. Despite the initial disappointment, we decided to give it a try. The alfaham chicken was good, flavorful. However, the rice was lacking the quality one expects from a mandi dish. In comparison, Mehfil Mandi in Nadapuram is far superior in terms of taste and reliability.

The mandhi at Alka Mandhi was good! They offer two varieties of rice, so we ordered both types--one for the chicken and the other for the mutton. However, they mistakenly served us the same rice for both. They kindly offered to change it, but after waiting 30 minutes (as they had informed us about delays beforehand), it got further delayed. We decided not to wait and just dig in. The food was enjoyable--flavorful mandhi, though not the best I've had. The chicken mandhi was better than the mutton, which was just okay. I usually judge mandhi by the quality of the mutton, so I might be a bit biased here. The mutton soup, unfortunately, was pretty average. I also bought a honey cake, but it had ants. While they took it back promptly, they still added it to the bill, and I had to request its removal. The service could definitely improve--it would've been better if they handled that without me having to ask. Overall, decent food with room for improvement in service and quality control. I'd eat the mandhi again, but it's not a top favorite.

Ordered Manthi and Maqluba from alka. Both of them are not up to the mark. Manthi felt like a blend of Manthi and biriyani rice, too much fried onions. Maqluba could have been better. Pepper alfahm was good though. They will deliver food home with a 50 rupees charge.

I tried madhooth from there. Its an avg one and the rice quantity was perfect but the chicken quantity was so less for the rice they give

Alka Mandhi is one of the greatest locations to eat Arabic rice in Nadapuram. I've eaten practically every item on their menu, however my personal fave is chicken maqluba. Mutton Madfoon is also excellent. I also tasted Afghani chicken, which is quite tasty. Chicken mandi was okay, but not exceptional in my opinion. Also, tried chicken madgoot bab al hind. The rice was delicious, but the chicken wasn't terrific. The decor and seats of the restaurant are excellent. If you enjoy Arabic rice, I highly suggest it.

Compared to other places the food is different in a good way. Good service with a good atmosphere. The quantity of food is worth the amount. Half Mandi rice will be enough for four people (not pieces).

Wow fantastic . I can assure you that you will be mesmerized by their services. The best in town. Attitude towards customers is outstanding. And they're providing complimentary soup too. Must visit
