HERITAGE HOME LUNCH & DINNER

Had a chance to experience their Lunch with a ride on the House boat for 3 hours. Our group enjoyed a lot the food, the boat ride and also the ambience. Food was delicious and the Crew was very kind and supportive and great hospitality. Definitely will recommend to friends and other teams...Kudos...Special mention to Mr. Manoj for suggesting when we opted for the Home lunch...:-)

One of the best home cooked banana leaf meals we have ever had. Beautiful traditional decor, great food with an amazing view. The food was tasty, beyond expectations. Wonderful people there, very friendly and very informative about the food served. Natural organic home grown ingredients that one could never taste anywhere else. Would recommend to everyone passing by North Kerala.

Absolutely one of the best meals I've had in India this trip. Warm welcoming home food with a huge variety of vegetables cooked in traditional Kerala style. Everything was locally sourced, mostly from their own orchard. Highly recommend.

Visited Poothali for relishing local sourced and cooked Kerala delicacies. Enjoyed every bite of my meal, more because of the lovely hosts and hospitality. They made us feel at home and very happy to guide us with anything we required. I would vouche for the food and excellent hospitality and recommend anyone considering to vist this place to do so without any second thoughts. Shout out to the owner, Mr Manoj for making us comfortable and walking us through the property, call him or check their Insta handle for getting a glimps of what you could expect. He can also help you around with, other experiences like house boats, local artisans, kayaking and theyyams (dancing demi gods of kerala).

Our family spent an evening at Poothali, and the overall experience was Amazing! Unique ambiance, great food freshly prepared just for us and excellent hosts. We wish we have more time to explore the whole of what Pooathali offers as an experience of North Kerala. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing, laid-back, and memorable dining experience.

We visited Poothali homestay for lunch during our trip to Nileshwar. It was on the last day of our trip and undoubtedly the best meal we had eaten over 3 days. There were so many varieties (both veg and non-veg), everything was really delicious. The homestay was stunning with great hospitality by Mr Manoj and team. Will definitely visit again.

a hidden gem in Bekal. i had visited them recently with family for lunch. actually, was looking at this place for months as a must visit place. therefore, made an advance booking for lunch which is a must if you really want to visit this place. they have a home stay as well..a place buried amidst nature. the place is so beautiful and serene heritage property. one would not be disappointed and one would think of coming back again. our purpose was food...in just one word i would say AMAZING. the foods was so good, homemade in a traditional way by the local home chefs. Host Mr. Manoj was very kind and preserved the tradition well to give that experience for people coming there. A must visit place to add to your travel memories.

Our visit to Nileshwar was one of the most outstanding and unforgettable trips of all time. The places we saw here were all so enchanting and striking. The liveliness and the vibes we experienced at this place are second to none - a thoroughly enjoyable experience. After some sightseeing, we went to the Heritage Home Lunch and Dinner as suggested by one of our friends who was very familiar with the place. On reaching, we found that this place looked like an ancestral property - so fine-looking and attractive. The fact that it faced the paddy fields was something more refreshing. Not to forget the staff, who were extremely cordial and welcoming. They served us the conventional Kerala meals on a banana leaf. It was a diffusion of varied tastes as we enjoyed all kinds of dishes like the Avial, Sambar, Errisery, vegetable fry, pickles and chips. Each item on the menu tasted just like what my mom makes in her kitchen. Exceptional! Zero reasons to crib about, ever. After the sumptuous meal, we went around the property to enjoy the traditional and contemporary sights - a different experience in every sense. When you come to Nileshwar, this place is a must-visit. You will truly enjoy a rich experience of the Kerala tradition in terms of taste, friendliness and tranquility.
