Was looking for a restaurant before boarding KSRTC bus and found this hotel next to the bus stand. it was late so many hotels I found in map were closed. The restaurant is very tidy and has ample seating space. Staff are very professional and there wasnt huge delay in taking the order or serving food. The menu is good, and the food is not pricy. I had a chicken biriyani and lemonade, both were delicious. Biriyani was served hot, with good quantity for the price. This is the best restaurant for the travellers as it is next to the bus stand and offers a clean place and a good dining experience. The washroom was and the hand wash area was also very clean. They provided great service at a nominal cost, very happy with the food and service.

Located next to Palakkad KSRTC bus stand and the famous pure vegetarian hotel Kapilavastu. Car parking available in front of the restaurant and at the basement as well. Being relatively new venture (less than 6 months or so), the restaurant, wash area and the rest rooms are immaculate. Menu is good to satisfy all category foodies. We ordered Fish (King Fish) Mango curry, Egg roast, butter Nan, Appam, and Mint lime. Many items are priced low comparing other restaurants around. Fish Mango curry and Egg roast were just superb and not highly spicy. Appam was very good, but butter naan failed to score as they were not properly cooked and had to struggle a lot to consume/chew. Some portion were highly burnt to and some not cooked properly. Mint lime (sweet n salt with soda) was also nice. Initially, the staff bought just a sweet n salt soda by mistake. Courteous staff

Good food for non vegetarian and seafood but very limited choices for vegetarian. My non vegetarian friends recommend the mango fish curry. The lemon tea is also very good.

Stardine is definitely one of the best restaurant in Palakkad. The atmosphere is truly relaxing and inviting. In addition to the fantastic restaurant, they also offer comfortable and affordable hotel rooms named Hotel in Hypolux. I stayed there and found them to be impeccably clean and hygienic. The food is fantastic - we loved every dish we tried. The service was also excellent, with the staff being friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend Stardine to anyone visiting Palakkad.
