Aroma Restaurant

Aroma Restaurant has quickly become my ideal spot for breakfast. The food quality consistently impresses me, especially their idiyappam and chicken curry combo -- it's absolutely delicious and feels perfectly homemade. I also love their strong tea, which complements the meal beautifully and sets the right tone for the rest of the day. Every dish I've tried so far has been flavorful and well-prepared, making Aroma a go-to place whenever I crave a hearty, satisfying breakfast. The only drawback is the parking situation; finding a good spot can sometimes be a challenge, especially during busy hours. However, the food and service more than make up for it. If you're looking for authentic flavors and a cozy breakfast experience, Aroma is definitely worth a visit!

It might be a typical restaurant in Pathanamthitta town, but I visited it as part of a package tour, so I didn't have control over the food choices. I'd rate the dining experience around 4.5 out of 10. A fixed menu was served to about 30 people, but nothing stood out. The breakfast at 7 AM was cold, which was quite disappointing. There seemed to be no effort to improve the food or service, and the dining atmosphere felt cold and unwelcoming. The taste and quality of the food were below average, which was surprising given they had a decent dining space and kitchen. I truly hope the restaurant steps up and begins serving hot dishes like puttu or idiyappam with flavorful curries--something everyone would look forward to on a beautiful morning.

Good place for a great breakfast and lunch. Sorry no dinner. Has been a key place for 3 generation's now. Maintained great taste all these years in Good hygienic conditions possible. Present lot of service staff needs to improve.

The best thing i have noticed about the hotel is, it is 100%clean. We can see the kitchen and the way they make the food. The cost of various dishes is affordable. My favourite personal is ....1 plate parotta, 1 plate fish curry , little beef fry and 1 cup of cofee. This makes my day happy!

Extremely clean and well maintained hotel, which is run by the 2nd generation owner. Food is well priced and really worth the money you spend. Multiple veg and non veg options and in case you do not get space in the hotel as the owner and he will guide you to the next facility which is about 300mtrs from each other.

Opens at 6:30 am. Best breakfast & lunch. Safe, clean Restaurant / Best Hotel in Pathanamthitta Town. (They don't have a deep freezer, so every dish comes in fresh. You can walk into their kitchen & nobody will question you) Breakfast: Appam, Idiyappam, chappati, porotta with mixed vegetables/kadala/egg/fish/beef curries. (Appam is continuously being made on 5 chatties just near the seating area) Lunch: Porotta & beef fry (if u r early), thali meals with fish curry/fry, beef fry, chicken biryani (this one runs out pretty fast). Anyways, all food gets over by 2.30 pm. Then they hose down, wash & clean the whole place. Reopens 6.30 am the next day.

Really good food and the restaurant is clean. Really recommend to try the porotta and beef.
