I recently visited Olam, and it was a fantastic experience! The "Chemballi Fry" was absolutely awesome--perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. The natural vibe of the place adds a unique charm, making it a relaxing spot to enjoy great food. It's a perfect place for families and kids, with a welcoming atmosphere and delicious dishes. Highly recommend it!

This is a good spot to get fresh and tasty fish items. You can get some freshly caught fish here. The ambience is pretty nice being on the shore of backwaters but they can definitely improve the building styles and lighting even more. The service definitely needs some improvement in the professionalism. Sometimes they don't even take order if you go and sit there. You need to call them to take order. The delay to take order and then get the food on table is too much. You will have to wait at least 30 minutes to get the food. Service is very unprofessional. And everything especially the fish is a bit overpriced. This place is in a walkable distance from Payyannur railway station.

Olam, located near the serene Kavvayi Backwaters, is a peaceful spot, especially during sunset. The experience of sitting by the boat jetty with your feet near the water is unmatched. While the ambiance is fantastic and the beef with pazhampori is a must-try, the service could be better--our chai took 30 minutes to arrive. It's a great place to unwind, especially on less crowded weekends. Definitely worth a visit while it still retains its charm!

It's a great spot for your lunch and dinner. The food served here is so delicious . We ordered puttu mix, Kappa and beef roast. The combination of Kappa and beef roast is marvellous . The plates were not washed properly as the smell stinky. The Dosa and chutney is a good combination and enjoyed the food. They have fish dishes as well. The seating capacity is enough and the atmosphere is another positive of this place. Water is provided in a jug made of clay. it gives a good experience as the water is cold naturally. The table and seats are made of wood, that is also appreciated. To reach the place we had to drive through a mud road and finally reached there which was located on the bank of the river. You can sit near the bank and enjoy the food. We ordered 3 puttu chicken mix 1 Kappa 1 beef roast and 1 puttu ( 3 pieces). For these items we spent around 730 rupees only. The restaurant is ideal for time spending with your friends and family and also with your loved ones. Try the delicious food and enjoy Taste is very subjective please go and try there
