Customer Reviews & Testimonials

Overly hyped Biriyani restaurant. We tried Chicken and mutton Biriyani. Both are average in terms of taste and quantity. We had to wait 30 minutes as Shop closes from 1230- 1330 hrs on every Friday. Its not worth waiting that long to have this Biriyani.

Affordable biryani ! Good one! Parking is very difficult as its a crowded area. Chicken biryani is a must try.

Housed in an old building, this hotel is neatly kept with a good old vibe! We had mutton biryani. Rice was flavour full. Masala was tasty yet very subtle. Mutton was of good quality and tasty. Special tea is a must try. Service was super and fast. The only downside is the parking limitations. Highly recommended!

I visited Apsara Hotel yesterday around 1 PM. Unfortunately, it was closed when we arrived due to Friday prayers, as the employees are Muslim. A sign indicated that on Fridays they open at 1:30 PM, while on other days they open at 1:00 PM. We waited outside for about 30 minutes, and during that time, the crowd outside the hotel grew significantly. The hotel finally opened at 1:40 PM. Despite the rush, we managed to find a table. We ordered Chicken Biryani, and within 10 minutes, we were served pickle, pappadam, and salad, followed by the biryani. The biryani was substantial and looked very appetizing. It was delicious, with cashew nuts and raisins, and the chicken was fantastic. We also ordered two biryanis for takeout. Due to the heavy rush, they informed us it would take 30 minutes for the takeout, so we had to wait. This place is definitely the best spot in Perumbavoor for a satisfying biryani.

Overall ok, biriyani little hyped, normal taste only. Special Tea is must try item.

We had lunch from this restaurant in Perumbavoor known for its biryani. While the biryani itself was good, I felt it didn't quite live up to the hype surrounding the place. The flavors were decent, but the dish could have been more exceptional given the expectations. One downside is the lack of parking spaces for cars, which can be inconvenient for visitors. On the positive side, the hotel was neat and clean, despite being housed in an older building. However, the interior painting and decor do look outdated and could use some refreshment. The highlight of my visit was the friendly staff who provided excellent service. Their welcoming attitude made the experience more enjoyable. Overall, it's a decent place to grab a bite if you're in the area, but it might not be worth going out of your way for."

Biriyani tasted the best! Service could've been more better! Had to wait 30 minutes just to get one chicken biriyani parceled!

I'm left pondering what the buzz is all about when it comes to the food at Apsara Hotel. I gave their mutton dishes a fair shot, but they all fell short of my expectations. It seems like there's a lot of hype surrounding this place, perhaps fueled by vloggers. the sentimental value it holds for the locals due to its age can be understood, but when it comes to quality and taste, it sadly misses the mark.
