CALICUT EMPIRE,PONNANI

I recently visited this lovely restaurant in Ponnani, Calicut, and had a great experience. The shop is very nice, with seating available and parking facilities provided. The bathroom facilities are decent as well. We ordered the mutton and naan chapati, and the highlight was definitely the Mutton polichathu--it was absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked. The food was flavorful and very satisfying, creating a peaceful dining experience. The staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive, which added to the overall charm of the place. I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for tasty food and a pleasant ambiance in Ponnani.

It was really pathetic from the side of the service and the atmosphere was unhygienic. The service attender showed his arrogance when asked for warm water over bottled drinking water and when he bought the warm water it was utterly hot even to touch the flask.after pouring hot water into the glass stinky smell started from it so they gave disposable glass instead of it. Even the ac dining areas the washroom and door was open and full of flies and dust . Food menu and quality was also moderately average

For lunch we tried Biriyani & Fried Rice. The food was average. I don't think they have no cook from Calicut as the name refers. The supplier was friendly and looking for tips.

On the highway side is where the restaurant is located. On the road to Calicut, we stopped at a restaurant for lunch. Average lunchtime attendance. The biryani is typical. The meals is excellent and worth it. Strongly advised if you intend to have lunch.There is enough room for about 40 people.During typical rush hours, there are plenty of parking spaces. On the first floor, there is a party room. There is a clean and available lavatory available. Nice ambience and good service. Overall good experience. One of Ponnani's best restaurants.

Good restaurant in that area. Ample parking space available and good ambiance also. Good and caring staff. Food is OK. We tried chicken noodles, fried rice, Biriyani and Gopi munchurian. I liked everything except Gopi munchurian. Lots of sauces and spices on it. Not at all a good option for kids. Also I bought Karachi biscuits from there. Very rarely available here.

Tired their Alfaham Mandi . It's really a below average Mandi . No taste at all , rice was not cooked well . Enough parking space and seating capacity.

Good restaurant at Ponnani. Nice ambience and good service. Crowded during lunch time. Ample parking available. Must try fish items. Biriyani is average. There was a delay in serving juice. Party hall available in first floor. Toilet available which is neat and clean. Overall good experience.

Ordered Veg Kuruma, Appam and Porotta for breakfast. There were not many options. Not even egg dishes. Food was just average. The portion size was good but the taste was not up to the mark and is a bit expensive. Overall, the food was unnecessarily expensive for the taste, quality and service they offer. Never visiting this place again.
