We went to this restaurant for a quick lunch. It seems to be a small family run place that serves food between noon and 3pm. The ambience was nice and the staff were very warm and friendly. We ordered the local fare - kari meen, beef and the vanji chaara which were served with sambar, fish curry and rasam. Payasam was served as dessert. The food was fresh and quite flavorsome. Worth visiting if in the area.
Uri the name itself a bit outstanding among others. In search of traditional food in my near by place I found this. Actually I love chatti choru with a traditional touch. But it actually a traditional made as if with a great ambiance. The presentation of vessels was mind blowing and the taste was outstanding.
Good food good service. Loved the experience last day we visited with family ordered Chicken Biriyani and Chatti choru all the food and side dishes were really tasty I felt like if there were less quantity of side dishes available it will be more enjoyable. Because rice was less and side dishes more. Anyway all the dishes were maintaining its quality and taste. Service was good and prompt. Free parking is available infront of the store.
Service and atmosphere is good but the food test like old we order rajavinte chatti chor vanchi chattichor and special
Chattichor was too good..very reasonable price...I won't recommend chatti biriyani..masala was not well cooked..it had a raw taste(my opinion)... Neerali roast was good.. Parking is available..but most of the time it will be full..also almost all the tables will be filled..so maybe we'll have to wait for 20-30 mins.. Overall good food at a decent price...I recommend Chatti chor with octopus roast
Tasty food served in clay utensils, potmeals was worthy for its price and of good quantity. Others dishes include potbiriyani and seafood varieties. Tried kakkafry but not really liked it. It was very oily and doesn't felt fresh. They do have icecreams and kulfis.
Enjoyed a delicious lunch with great quality food and attentive service. Definitely worth a visit!
I experienced one of the very bad biriyani ever time in my life today from Uri. My daughters who big biriyani fans they really struggled to eat half part of the pack.
