Read the full review please . We really liked the food, but there are few problems with the seating and service in my opinion. But let me talk about the food we had. We had garlic naan, roti, tandoori chicken and their special Malabar alfahm. We really liked them all. Nan wasn't hard or chewy, tandoori chicken was flavorful, the green chutney with it was good. Malabar alfahm was something new for us. Alfahm with thick spicy gravy. People who like hot stuffs might enjoy it. They also do have other things like biriyani and other Arabian cuisine. Have ample parking space. It's hard to notice the restaurant since it is in a pocket road from the highway. Now to the negatives. It was hot inside fans weren't aligned to the table we were sitting and we were sweating. Then they offered us to use the AC room which in my opinion is really small for this big restaurant. They should consider making the whole restaurant centralized AC since they have the good dishes but need to work on better atmosphere. Also we asked for tea and they were hesitant to take the order. Nonetheless they told us it would take some time and we agreed to that. After sometime they asked is if we would consider canceling the order as it might take more time. They were so polite that We canceled it . They should learn to say NO if they don't have it . Anyways we liked the food very much. Not much on the service side as well as atmosphere. Since monsoon is round the corner things might cool down.

A good place to dine in at Ramanattukara. Opposite to the bus stand, Kohinoor restaurant is on the right side of the bylane. When we got in, the restaurant was empty. We were doubtful of the quality of food they have, the ambience was so good that we were held bak on the chair and we decided to give a try. We ordered porotta and Fish(Karimeen) pollichathu. Fish Pollichathu was beyond our expectations, so mouth watering and delicious. Staffs also were so polite and service friendly.

Big scam This place is a trap. Big chance to get cheated by the menu. The scanner menu will not show you the price of full portion. We checked the menu for Bhiriyani and it was showing 100rs. When the bill came it was 150rs. Then the casher told the menu is not updated. they successfully created a wrong impression on the pricing and cheated us. I would be more than happy to pay 150/140 for a Bhiriyani if it is that much worthy. We tried both beef Bhiriyani and chicken bhiriyani. Both of them were plain and the beef was undercooked and rubbery. We reached the restaurant by 7.30 and all the seats were mysteriously vacant for some reason. All the dishes are overpriced and not worthy paying this much. The only best thing is the parking. Don't get cheated by the fancy lighting

I was really disappointed with my experience. The floor was dirty,and the plates were not properly cleaned. To make matters worse, the food served was bland and tasteless.It was definitely not up to standard,and I won't be returning.

Good parking space and nice ambiance but all dishes are overpriced.

Don't try mandhi rice + Malabar sp alfahm + Tandoori. These will disappoint you Rice was very oily you can squeeze oil out of it and tandoori chicken was not cooked well enough, Malabar alfahm came with an oil gravy !
