Aavees Puttukada

We visited Avees Puttu House last night, and the place was bustling with most seats filled--a testament to its popularity. The restaurant offers a wide variety of puttu options, including beef, chicken, koonthal (squid), chemeen (prawn), wheat, ragi, and corn puttu. Beyond puttu, they serve kappa, appam, and porotta, along with a range of curries and fries--beef varutharacha curry, beef fry, beef liver fry, mutton thala curry, mutton botty, mutton brain fry, various fish curries, chemeen fry, meen mutta, chicken mappas, chicken curry, chicken fry, and kappa with chammanthi. The puttu combo was an interesting offering--meat flattened and inserted into the chiratta puttu for 100/-. While the concept was appealing, the taste didn't quite live up to expectations. However, the beef varutharacha curry stood out with its rich, flavorful gravy, and the staff generously served extra beef gravy with a few pieces upon request. The puttu was well-steamed and served hot, which we appreciated. While the appam was soft and tasty, the porotta was a letdown, likely because it's sourced from elsewhere and lacked the freshness you'd expect. On the plus side, they serve crispy pappadam with puttu, which added a nice crunch to the meal. They also offer a variety of good black tea options, perfect for winding down the meal. The dining space was comfortable, though the parking area was limited. Despite the delayed service, the hospitality from the staff was warm and welcoming. Overall, Avees Puttu House offers a decent dining experience with a variety of options, though some dishes outshine others.

Very bad experience Putt is not salted for taste. Had beef putt and putt with mutton botty. Beef putt was stale with no flavours and botty was one of the worst I had in my life. Pappadam served with putt was cold and with oil taste. Not recommended at all. Been there after second show and spoiled my entire night.

Liked- Clean Pocket friendly Tasty items They have raggi, rice, chemba and corn varieties of putt. Serve porotta and appam as well.

Ordered parotta and chicken roast. Chicken gravy is tasty but chicken wasn't tender at all and hard rock. Coming to parotta, it seems to have been prepared in the morning and was so like chewing a rubber. Honestly not suggestes

I used to enjoy dining here, but recently they've increased their prices without improving the food quantity or quality. On top of that, the staff has changed and they're now rude and unapproachable, which makes the whole experience uncomfortable. With so many better options available in this price range, I wouldn't recommend this place anymore. Really disappointing.

They only know to make puttu.The puttu was well-steamed and served hot.Botty was one of the worst I had in my life. There is no quantity , quality and taste. Prices are high.I wouldn't recommend this place anymore.

Please stay away. I had the worst food and regret buying food from here. Beef fry was old and bad, porotta was like maida & rubber dosa Only chicken perat was tolerable

Prowns puttu is an average i think. Because of the quantity of the food is less. Also price is not more only 75 ruppee. But the prowns is great quantity
