Grill House Thalassery

Grill House in Thalassery is a fantastic destination for lovers of grilled Arabian-style food. Located conveniently near Town Hall, this place is known for its delicious Al Faham, shawarma varieties, and a range of other grilled delights. I had the Pepper Al Faham and Classic Shawarma, and both were bursting with flavor. The meat was perfectly grilled--juicy inside with a nice smoky char on the outside. Their menu is quite extensive, featuring Peri Peri, Masala Shawai, and Barbecue Al Faham options, along with Cheese and Hummus Shawarmas. The Green Apple Mojito was refreshing, and the Bun Porotta served as a great side. The food presentation was neat, and the portion sizes were good for the price. The ambiance is cozy and clean, ideal for families or groups. Service was prompt and polite, although weekends can be a bit crowded. Overall, Grill House offers great value and consistently tasty food, making it one of Thalassery's top spots for grilled dishes. Highly recommended!

Pros:- The best part here is the food is good. The shawarma which I tried was classic and spicy. Both were very good. Compared to other places the cost was also ok. Cons:- Ambience can be improved here. The chair and tables are not that sturdy. Parking facility is also a challenge here as it is beside the main road, 2 wheeler parking can be managed but 4 wheeler parking has to be done somewhere far and we may have to walk till the cafe. Overall a good experience. As it is near the railway station, one can get the parcel to have during the travel. Must visit the place , The shawarma was tasty here . The cost of shawarma will range from 100-160.

Once the best shawaya in town! Recent visits noticed a drop in quality and flavor. Hoping for a comeback to the old standards.

Today I had shawaya from this shop as seen lots of shawaya in outside. Taste is ok. But their customer service must improve. Their approach to customer is very bad as felt 'lick and go if you want'.

Had a shawarma today, and it was disappointing and bland taste. I've never eaten a worse shawarma than this.

The masala is spicy and good. The quantity is also sufficient. It's the first masala shawayi that I had. But my accompanying friends told me its one of good ones available in Thalassery. Do give it a try, if you feel like having something spicy and is in mood of shawayi.

Today when I was coming from railway station I saw this shop and their so many shawayas in machines so I thought they were making some different type of shawayas but when I saw their menu there is only one type of shawaya and no quarter piece available then I bought half shawaya with bun porota etc.. it cost me 250rs and I was very disappointed because no taste of chicken only masala and lot of masala and chicken is little bit hard. They professionally destroying the real shawaya. So my suggestion is don't waste your money and time and go somewhere else. There are a lot of options.
