Hotel Paris Presidency

I am a regular visitor at this hotel. The fifth floor AC rooms are excellent. Well managed hotel, great food, excellent location. You can have a great view of the ocean in the distance from some rooms. However, what sets it apart are: |Located right in the middle of the main shopping area, near the railway station and bus stand. |Superb parking |Separate lodge for your drivers. |Excellent Kerala style food |Great service. |Walking distance from the pier, fort and other places of interest.

The floor manager's behavior was extremely unprofessional and arrogant, which made the overall experience quite unpleasant. It's hard to say whether the owners are aware of this or have simply stopped caring about the standards of their restaurant. Honestly, he comes across more like a grumpy government bank manager than a restaurant floor manager If you're thinking of visiting with your family, you might want to reconsider -- the staff's attitude could easily ruin your outing.

Poor service ... pathetic manager Manager guy needs to learn some manners.. we are customers , coming there to have food & hope he is not at the thought that he is giving us free food from his home . U cant juz tell the customer that " this is the only seats we have , u can stand near any table & catch it whenever its empty ". every standard restaurants have the facility for the waiting customers & courtesy to arrange seats for them ... Good food is available at many places ; but to have a sustained fame & buisness u need to have good management , descent managers , proper cleanliness & adequate staff ..

Average rooms; no one answers the intercom numbers given for assistance on the phone; cleanliness is reasonable. Parking space is an advantage. But I won't suggest this place to people who are seeking comfortable accomodations for leisure. This place surely is a good abode to check in for quick and short visits. The food experience from the Paris restaurant was good. Indigenous tastes at a reasonable price.

The review is about the restaurant. I had a chicken biryani, though the rice had some flavours but the chicken was half cooked . The meat was almost raw .

We traveled all the way from Calicut to experience authentic Thalassery dum biriyani here. While we didn't mind waiting for almost an hour, the taste was truly disappointing. It didn't live up to our expectations at all, and unfortunately, they are spoiling the name of Thalassery biriyani.

Attention Biryani Lovers! Be cautious before visiting this place. Both the mutton and chicken biryanis are just average. The masala and rice quality don't meet the standards and need significant improvement. I've heard good things about Old Paris, but haven't tried it myself. Additionally, the service here is a bit slow. So, think twice before you decide to visit.

Not a big bargain. Very old property, unhelpful staff. Not maintained properly. The air conditioner is very old and cumbersome to operate. Not worth your money.
