MRA Restaurant,Bakery & Cafe

The food and the ambience of the restaurant is good. The menu covers most of the cuisine varieties from local dishes across Kerala and other Indian states along with Indo-Chinese and Arabic ones. The restaurant parking for cars is a concern as there are only a few ones and does not even cover the number of tables. There is also a tea stall and bakery which increases the footfall and makes the area congested. One suggestion for the restaurant management would be to offer valet parking to restaurant consumers to ease the difficulty. I saw many customers changing plans and returning out due to no parking when i was downstairs. Those are lost consumers who may never return and their word of mouth will deter others to include MRA to their plans.

Visited MRA Hotel in Thalassery expecting a good meal, but the experience was just okay. The food was decent, nothing exceptional, but the waiting time was too long, which was frustrating. Service was polite but slow, likely due to the crowd. If you're in no rush, it's fine, but not the best choice for a quick bite.

Abundant menu which was good to experience. We had the paneer with parottas and the mushrooms. It would be nice for more of the offerings to be fresh and the starters to be veg friendly. I got several dishes to go, the paneer with naan, and mushrooms with naan and kunefa. We were hoping to have dosa but at 7pm they were all gone.

This review is based on my second visit. During this visit, I decided to forgo dining and instead tried their tea and snacks. While the tea was satisfactory, the snacks were quite disappointing. Despite the restaurant's renowned bakery, there was nothing special about the experience this time. The atmosphere and offerings didn't live up to the establishment's reputation. In the future, I will likely opt for a roadside tea shop for a more enjoyable experience, as this visit was rather underwhelming.

I visited MRA today evening with high expectations, but unfortunately, the experience was a letdown. From the moment we walked in, the service was slow and unfriendly. Very bad service. We ate waiting 45 minutes and above . We order pomegranate juice its price is very high but we got same same water juice very poor and horrible service

Our server seemed overwhelmed and took ages to take our orders. The food was the biggest disappointment. I ordered the 2 mutton ran biriyani, which was overcooked and lacked flavor. The portion size was also tiny compared to the price. Overall, I would not recommend MRA to anyone. There are far better options in the area that offer better food, service, and atmosphere.

I recently visited MRA hotel in thalasseryand unfortunately, my experience was not good. The food was very disappointing. One of the dishes we ordered was overcooked and hard to eat. Overall, the food quality was very poor. We had to wait for more than one and a half hours after placing the order, which was very frustrating. Despite the long wait, the taste of the food was not worth it at all. Also, the prices were too high compared to the quality of the food and service. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a good dining experience.

Nice and tasty. Not ultra expensive, though towards the premium pricing. But to the variety and taste offered, MRA is the best
