Paris Restaurant (old)

Visited in morning time. Ordered porotta and chicken curry. Porotta was very nice and the chicken curry didn't up to the expectation. Asked for extra fish curry gravy and the staff was cooperative and they served extra gravy. That fish gravy was awesome Overall nice experience. Neat and well maintained.

Good food but crowded. Went on a Sunday afternoon and it was very busy. At 2pm most of the items were not available like mutton Biryani. Service is slow and had to wait a bit.

Came here after the huge hype they are getting in social media. But biriyani felt average, nothing special about it. We only tried biriyani. Opinion is personal

The most traditional hotel in Thalassery, the taste capital of North Malabar. This establishment is famous for its delicious Thalassery Dum Biryani, and serves a variety of desserts in the evenings, my favorite being Unnakkaya. This is an establishment that Thalasseryans always feel proud of. People come from far and wide to savor the delicious food here. Their impeccable service is worth mentioning.

The place is totally worth the hype, serving authentic thalassery style biryani. The pricing is also reasonable. Please be mindful, it's a non-veg oriented hotel, and a very limited veg menu is available. The fish curry was also mind blowing. The place also will not serve any kind of desserts and aerated drinks. It was such an amazing experience, the staff were also humble and friendly.

Best Thalassery Biriyani you can have and the 4hrs drive from Wayanad was worth it. We literraly went when lunch time was over. The service was very good but as there was language problem(we spoke in english/hindi/kannada,they understood somehow most but not all) one oder they didnot get. The food was mouthwateringly good. We being bengali it tasted just like Basonti pulao and Mutton kosha. It has a old world charm

Our Experience: We visited for an early dinner after sunset. The place was lively and crowded, with a lot of staff ensuring swift service. However, the restaurant is a completely enclosed space, and the lack of proper ventilation made it feel a bit stuffy. Hospitality: The owners were incredibly warm and welcoming, engaging us in conversation about our travels and wishing us well. The staff, primarily seasoned senior members, were attentive and efficient, ensuring a fast dining experience. What We Tried: Thalassery Biryani: While I'm not usually a fan of Thalassery biryani, their version impressed me with its distinct and subtle flavors. A must-try for biryani enthusiasts! Parotta & Curries: The parottas were soft and flaky, paired perfectly with flavorful chicken and mutton curries. Dosa: soft but not hot, still complemented well by the curries. Overall: The dishes were flavorful, and the prices were very budget-friendly. If you're in Thalassery, this restaurant is worth a visit for its historical significance, warm hospitality, and authentic local cuisine.

Finally we had the great Paris hotel Thalassery biriyani Taste is amazing and the quantity of biriyani is more than enough, I suggested for a normal person try to order half biriyani only
