Rara Avis Restaurant

Rara Avis restaurant is in thalassery and the food quality and taste are good. At a time more than 100 persons can be accommodated. Though the area is congested, they provided, securities to park the customer vehicles properly in multiple parking spaces. We visited the restaurant on Saturday evening and waited for 15 minutes to get seats in the restaurant. But the employees will note down our details and allocate seats quickly on availability. The infrastructure and furniture are very old and the food is a bit costly.

One of the finest restaurants in thalassery. Mutton biriyani is highly recommended. Parking space and google pay Card, cash and UPI payments are available.The quality and taste of the food served here is amazing. All the items had enough quantity to fill out the stomach. Very spacious parking is available at the backside of the restaurant which has different entry and exit points.Waiting time after taking order is too much and the curries weren't that good.

Rare Avis has recently increased its fine dining capacity, which makes it more comfortable during peak hours. Recommended dishes: mutton dry fry and prawns kondattam--both are well-cooked and flavourful. Service is efficient, and the overall experience is consistent.

Good Non Veg food. But for Vegetarians there are only a few options like veg biryani and fried rice. Again for veg curries you have mushroom curry, gobi manchurian and butter paneer. All the three curries just give us the taste of sauce and improper cooking. Butter paneer is somewhat better.

All the items had enough quantity to fill out the stomach. T For the three of us, we ordered half butter chicken which was enough for 3 people. Butter chicken was fantastic as well as the chicken fried rice. Card, cash and UPI payments accepted. Very spacious parking is available at the backside of the restaurant which has different entry and exit points.

Been a regular customer for the past few years. But past visits weren't worth of what we paid. Waiting time after taking order is too much and the curries weren't that good.
