Royal Restaurant

i recently visited this restaurant for lunch and, after a short wait, managed to find a seat. The service is quick--sometimes almost too fast, as the staff barely had time to engage with us. I tried the Kerala meals, which were excellent. The payasam served was particularly delightful, and I was impressed by the freshness of the food. There are also multiple fish fry options to choose from, adding variety to the menu. Definitely worth a visit to try out their lunch offerings.

Tried the meals here - the seafood tasted really good and fresh. I enjoyed the main dishes. However, they didn't include payasam, rasam, or curd with the meals - you have to pay extra for those, which was disappointing. Also, the prices felt a bit high for what was offered. Good taste, but not fully satisfying overall.

I recently visited Royal Restaurant in Thalassery, and I had a great experience! The food was absolutely delicious -- I especially loved the Kingfish Fry and the Tiger Prawns. Everything was fresh and full of flavor. The service was also excellent; the staff were friendly and attentive. Overall, I really enjoyed my time there and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for quality seafood and great service in Thalassery!

Had lunch with friends, a good local (naatt uunn) fish curry meals in Banana leaf, along with few side extras of friend prawn, mussels (kllummkkaay), Squid (kuunt) and Sardine pepper (mtti). Good tasty food & friendly staff, spacious & airy ambience. Bike parking ok. Cars, find by roadside. Edit: Again went for lunch, fish curry meals with extra sides of friend prawn, mussels (kllummkkaay)., good food. Reported to them that Mussels were tasting a bit low, probably some difference in cooking., they welcomed the feedback & assured to improve. Overall, a good experience

I had a fantastic dining experience at Royal Restaurant in Thalassery! The food was absolutely delicious, with authentic Malabar flavors that truly stood out. Their Thalassery biryani was a highlight--perfectly cooked, fragrant, and packed with flavor. A must visit!

I will suggest Meals, but don't go for Biriyani if you expect Thalassery. I am not gonna talk about the price, but the taste and quantity was not good.

Supremely quick service with decent food and ambience and lots of lunch specials on offer!

Had Kerala meal yday.. was excellent, including Payasam and moru..However the seer fish fry I got was not fresh; it was almost stale.. This was totally unexpected in a place like this. When I complained to someone who looked like a supervisor, he was a bit evasive and just mentioned that they get fish everyday and don't even have a fridge.
