Food was not anything to match the hype. Not many options. They just have biriyani and various versions of it. Nothing great about the food. Plates were awful, it had oil stains and oily. Did not appear the plates were washed hygienically and properly. Service is horrible.

Al razi is the best mandhi restaurant in thiruvalla. The food is absolutely delicious, packed with flavor and cooked to perfection.The service was prompt and friendly. Great service highly recommend!

First of all, the food is great! Overall its an awesome restaurant. Now for those who buy food online. It's definitely better to visit the restaurant in person and buy directly. On Zomato, the prices are marked up by over 200 compared to the actual in-store prices. For example, half BBQ mandi with a 1L Sprite costs around 530 at the restaurant. But on Zomato, just the half BBQ mandi alone is around 700+! Adding a screenshot from zomato for ref.(distance 1.8km) At that price, you might as well fill up your petrol tank, drive to the restaurant, buy the food, and still end up saving money. LOL

Al razi was one of the best mandhi restaurants in Thiruvalla. But now some days they don't deliver the same quality food, sometimes it's good sometimes it's just OK. Overall Good Tried Al Razi again after 2 years. Not sure what changed, but the old taste seems to be missing. The Alfaham wasn't seasoned properly -- the rice was decent but lacked the flavor it used to have. I also ordered a soda lime, but it didn't taste good. On the positive side, they've upgraded the tables and chairs, and the place is definitely cleaner than it used to be.

Despite the restaurant being a bit busy when we arrived, the staff were efficient and accommodating. They managed to find us a seat in a calm and quiet area, which allowed us to enjoy our meal in peace. The ambiance was pleasant, making the overall dining experience enjoyable. Whether you're in the mood for a hearty Mandi or some well-grilled meats, Al Razi delivers on both quality and taste. We had a lovely time and would definitely recommend it to others.

TLDR - Kaantari Al Faham Mandhi is a must try - A Good Mandhi spot in and around Thiruvalla/Mavelikkara - Mint Lime Tried this Mandhi joint as recommended by a friend. The parking space is limited and it might be difficult to find a spot during peak hours. Whether it's a mandhi or grilled meat that you are in the mood for Al Razi houses all of them The special mandhis are Kaantari Al Faham Mandhi and Honey Glazed Al Faham Mandhi. We tried a full Kaantari Al Faham Mandhi, watermelon mojito, mint and pineapple lime and a quarter grilled chicken kondaattam piece Kaantari Al Faham Mandhi - 4/5 Mint Lime - 4/5 Watermelon Mojito - 3.5/5 Pineapple Lime - 3/5 Kondaattam Chicken Grill - 3.75 / 5 There is a considerable amount of seating but some chairs lack the back rest so that can be a bummer for a few. The wash is just to the right of the entrance. If you are visiting with family, there are indeed family sized tables available as well. Overall a decent mandhi experience. Mint lime is a killer :')

We visited the restaurant today, and although the chicken manti was sold out, we decided to try the quarter beef mandi and quarter mutton mandi. Both were absolutely delicious! The beef mandi was tender and flavorful, with perfectly seasoned rice that complemented the meat. The mutton mandi was equally impressive, with juicy, well-cooked mutton that melted in the mouth. The aromatic spices used in both dishes really brought the meal to life, making each bite a true delight. Service was prompt, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Definitely a great choice for anyone craving authentic and flavorful mandi dishes. Highly recommended!
