Black Pepper ( blaakk pepp)

This was Black Pepper First shop at Thiruvalla. Shop has a very small dine area, but kept clean. We bought 3 Biriyani. Chettinad, Thalasheri and Butter Chicken all the three where good. Cost seems reasonable. Not sure if they have any other dishes other than Biriyani for lunch.

Decent food and service provided but waiting time is a bit of an issue and so as the parking ! Take away or online ordering would be better

Their shawarma is a scam, Had a very bad experience while having their shawarma, Went for their reviews on google, But wouldn't recommend this place for shawarma again in my life, First of all it felt more like a "Chappathi roll" than a shawarma, And 130 for this is over priced, The meat isn't cooked and masala felt like that of a chicken curry, Wouldn't go back to this place for a shawarma, Only the good thing is their service [ Shawarma, Thiruvalla, Al-Fahim, Muthoor, Kavumbhagom, Mannankarachira ]

Black Pepper is wonderful. That place is not that spacious, but they have very tasty food. We ordered kuzhi mandhi and barbecue . Service was also good.

This was their first shope. Therefore, only limited seats were available for dine in. They do have a takeaway, but the dine in was pretty clean. We ordered 3 biriyanies. All tasted good.

It's been an year dine in was stopped due to Covid ,recently everything is opened and planned to try this restaurant .Located nearby Muthoor Junction (300m) .This place looks cozy and there was no dine in customers.We were the first to enter at that time and asked for Potato Wedges ( went here just to try this alone) but they informed me that it is'over' at around 5.30pm.So I thought to try Pizza Chicken Shawarma ,again the same reply but then they informed that they will provide and to wait 20mins.So time passed quickly, we got out our first dine in food and it was looking good but the shawarma felt bland as there were no enough chicken inside it, Fench fries was loaded much.Secondly ,we got our french fries (both ordered at same time) and that was also not upto the mark. Expectation was high but the experience was lousy. Try to avoid French fries in Shawarma and give a 100% satisfaction to customers. PS: Arabic & Biryani was selling hot there

OVERHYPED ! OVERPRICED ! We went to black pepper by seeing lots of instagram posts and reviews and it was an utter failure. We ordered American filly cheese burger, classic burger, Turkish Shawarma, pizza shawarma and bbq. The normal chicken burger was just an average and for the rate it was disappointing. American filly cheese burger had a slice of grilled chicken inside the bun along with two cheese slices and it costed 200. I wasn't worth even for 100. It was an absolute disaster. There were a wait over 30 mins to get the normal shawarma. We had ordered just usual stuff, nothing fancy... Even this waiting would have been ok if there was a rush... It's just two customers right here... When it comes to the shawarmas... the pizza shawarma was just average and there was nothing for 180 rs. I want to say more about the Turkish Shawarma. The whole meat Turkish Shawarma was filled with tomatoes and cucumbers. It's better if you change the name to veggie shawarma. The quality of the meat was also pathetic. The ice crushers was also disappointing. They grinded the ice like a paste and added some artificial syrup into it with some sugar. It was my first experience having crushers like a paste and eating it with a spoon. The barbecue was also just an average . There's one more critical issue . You'll get a menu card from there and don't look on it for the price. The price of the items mentioned in the menu card weren't the same when the bill came. Menu card is not only to know the items in the menu also to know the price. All the items we ordered had a difference of 10-40 rs.
